I am pretty sure I heard Savage say something about a vacation.. I assumed that it would be this week.

Probably Babbit Nation, but he’s the most tolerable of the fill-ins imho.

Several stations I previously listened to Savage on (via Internet) have dropped him for Levin.

Maybe Savage doesn’t care, but he is losing listeners and stations. He has only his frequent absenses to blame.

The stations care, because, when they lose listeners, they lose revenues.

Back in december/january there was a big station buyout. They dropped Savage (a pay feed) and put levin on (free). That’s the reason.

I’ve been a fan of Savage’s for quite some time, but he needs to be upfront as to why these absences are so frequent.

I enjoy listening to him and his stories and unique independent conservative perspectives — but I have noticed that he’s losing stations.

Here in San Francisco, I can’t even get him on the dial, so I have to go to either TalkStreamLive or IHeartRadio and listen on the Sacramento station or somewhere else.

I started doing this because I like his stories about days gone be that he would link to current events

I ended up switching to Levin for now, but I’m certainly interested in that Sununu interview. He’s the best surrogate R/R has!

Savage always says “where’s waldo” and that Romney isn’t hitting back, but judging by the soundbites, Romney has been skewering the bam pretty good. He’s staying on message too.

I can’t wait for the repulsive kenyan and his greasy entourage to get their eviction notice.

“stations care, because, when they lose listeners, they lose revenues.”

Correct. I would think TRN is having to refund some ad payments due to re-runs and replacements. I dunno what the ratings look like with Babbin, etc.

I remember reading a while back that Savage sued his syndicator TRN. Apparently his ratings greatly outperform the other hosts on TRN (e.g., Jerry Doyle, Laura Ingraham, et al) that they’re willing to put up with a lot.

Google’ing “Savage sues syndicator” yields several hits about this.

As Sununu refers to that contrived drawl from Obama/Biden, I’ve noticed when Obama speaks to a Latino audience he has no accent when pronouncing Spanish names. He skillfully pauses and says those names louder, and people fall for it.

I just heard an ad where Savage is plugging the movie 2016. He mispronounced the name of the author as “Dineesh” (almost sounded like Denise D’Souza.)

I love when he botches up names, whether on purpose or by accident.

I get the feeling he isn’t coming bsck

maybe he realizes the ryan statement was not wise (and it wasn’t)

I for sure was happy with the Ryan pick and it seems to be working well for the ticket

it would be shocking (and a nice surprise) if savage can admit he was wrong

but I think he is one of those people who will never admit they were wrong (you know those annoying stubborn people you can barely stand to be around)

LOL there you go - case closed as Archie would say ;)
