Look at your numbers. Like the man said, there are lies, damned lies and statistics. Violent crime in Irving is about 1/2 of L.A.
Burglary and Theft are the big deltas. I am in North Irving so we don’t have numbers per se. It is like lumping Woodland Hills, Studio City and Encino in with South Central L.A. and Boyle Heights — yeah, it is all Los Angeles but the crime profiles from the areas are, let us say, a bit different.
I took my morning walk along the riverwalk today — people leave furniture, kids toys. BBQs, etc. unsecured and unattended on their decks and patios. It’s how we roll in North Dallas.
And if my fellow Irvingers (Irvingites? Irvinquaos?) do not avail themselves of the Texas CCW laws, there is not much I can do. But if someone wants to rip me off the cost to me is 15 cents worth of lead. As a Castle Law state, Texas is cool with that. In L.A. you can only stand there and watch them take your stuff.
Wow...You seem a bit slow...That was posted because you made the above comment....lol...Seems you haven't a clue.
And another reason why the comparisons were with *major* cities.
Dallas crime makes LA appear like the shinning city on the hill, and why you were told you live right on top of a major crime zone, which you attempted to deny.
LOL!
This begs the question, are you denying the stats regarding Irving?
Take your time...LOL!
