I’m convinced that there’s a tree in Rockefeller Center somewhere, or maybe in some secluded corner of Central Park, and about this time of the year it produces television journalists.
Like the tree in Hollywood from which they pick guys like George Clooney, Sean Penn and others who say exactly the same things but at different times. And the same goes for the female fruits of the Hollywood tree—usually worn-out, washed-up former babes who can’t seem to understand that show business is simply cruel and shooting off your mouth won’t get you a job if your face is wrinkled and you have a neck wattle.
The television tree has given us flatulent gas-bags like Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather, Peter Jennings, and now, Bryan Williams.
He’s getting a little long in the tooth, so I suppose he may feel he has to wear the mantle of left wing idiotic drivel and cant. Williams may have been grafted from a Jennings branch—they look alike: that blow-dried, razor-cut hair, and they speak alike with that neutral middle coast bland accent, think alike, express the same opinions. (Of course Jennings is fertilizing the ground now.)
Same with the women objective and professional `journalists’. Chris what’s-her-name (Matthews?), Andrea Mitchell, you know the types and the names—all like that grand old dame who shall not be mentioned, initials H.T., no photos, please: They think that being a bitch is being aggressive like a man, when it’s just being a `butch’ jerk. Which brings us to .... the more exotic fruits, like Anderson Cooper and Shepherd Smith. Men who wear make-up.

Think about that for a minute...you can be seen as working for your constituents if you vote ‘for’ or ‘ against’ a bill...at least you are taking a stand one way or another...but to vote present ... its like saying you are out back with the shroom gang puffing weed and can’t be bothered.
