Oh, BS! I was conservative probably before you were even born. I guess you are one of those old fashioned, middle American conservatives that were pushing for drugs for the kids in the 1960s, I don't recall meeting any of you, basically because they didn't exist, but I sure met a mass of left wing dope heads, and lefty politicians that loved the idea.
Were you promoting drug use in the 1960s?

Actually, I'm one of those old fashioned, American conservatives who knows government has no legitimate authority to protect us from our own actions. It has to do with that pesky thing called Freedom.

Were you promoting drug use To support the legality of a substance is not to "promote" its use. Are those who support the legality of the drug alcohol thereby "promoting" alcohol use?
