If conservatives can TAP INTO this cultural sentiment, we may be able to tie Bloombergism to Obamugabe. Both of these clowns advocate and embrace the NANNY STATE.

The title of this article does not give the whole story. The most salient point is: (Still, half of voters say they approve of Bloomberg’s record on public health, while 38 percent do not.

“Overall, New Yorkers give Hizzoner good grades on public-health as they reject the criticism that it’s ‘nanny government,’” said Maurice Carroll, director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute.)

It seems like New Yorkers have no problem with government dictating and imposing itself in the most mundane parts of life, if those parts don’t seem particularly important. We are becoming a nation of sheep. How else to explain that Obama may very well be re-elected despite his horrible record?
