PHOENIX - Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer on Wednesday ordered state agencies to deny driver's licenses and other public benefits to young illegal immigrants who obtain work authorizations under a new Obama administration policy.
In an executive order, Brewer said she was reaffirming the intent of current Arizona law denying taxpayer-funded public benefits and state identification to illegal immigrants.
Young illegal immigrants around the nation on Wednesday began the process of applying for federal work permits under the Obama administration's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.
The federal policy defers deportations for that group if they meet certain criteria, including arrival in the United States before they turned 16 and no convictions for certain crimes.
After President Barack Obama announced the policy change in June, Brewer labeled it ``backdoor amnesty'' and political pandering by the Democratic president.
Arizona has been in the vanguard of states enacting laws against illegal immigration.
The U.S. Supreme Court in June overturned parts of the Arizona enforcement law known as SB1070 but ruled that a key provision on requiring police to ask people about their immigration status under certain circumstances can be implemented.
The Obama administration challenged that law in 2010 after Brewer signed it into law.
In the past decade, Arizona voters twice approved laws denying publicly funded services, such as in-state resident university tuition rates, to illegal immigrants unless mandated by the federal government.
Brewer's order said the policy's federal paperwork doesn't confer lawful status on illegal immigrants and won't entitle them to Arizona public benefits...

Although the IRS detected about 940,000 fraudulent returns for last year claiming $6.5 billion in refunds, there were potentially another 1.5 million undetected cases of thieves seeking refunds after assuming the identity of a dead person, child or someone else who normally wouldn't file a tax return.
In just one example, investigators found a single address in Lansing, Mich, was used to file 2,137 separate tax returns. The IRS issued more than $3.3 million in refunds to that address.
Florida is the epicenter of the identity theft crisis (a state overrun with latinos---many of whom are Cuban---who are also involved in massive Medicare/Aid fraud). Just three addresses in Florida filed more than 500 returns totaling more than $1 million in refunds for each address.
In another troubling scenario, hundreds of refunds were deposited into the same bank account—--a red flag for investigators searching for ID thieves-- who may be filing for refunds for multiple people. In one instance, the IRS deposited 590 refunds totaling more than $900,000 into one account.

March 8, 2012 KENNER, La. Kenner police arrested illegal Marvin Baca who sold false W-2 forms to another illegal immigrant for $1,500. Baca sold fraudulent W-2 forms for $1,500 to other Hispanics here illegally.
Police said that on one of the forged W-2 forms had a SS no of a person living in Virginia. Police said illegal Hispanics purchase fictitious W-2 forms and file false tax returns with the government to receive EITC refunds.

Obama’s #1 goal is re-election and he needs Hispanics to get off their couch and vote again as in 2008 and things are not well in the Obama-land economy. This is intended to motivate them to vote. Notice they call it 'temporary' two years, that means another administration (assuming we had a party who cared who gets elected) will know who all these people are and COULD take action.
It seems like a pretty safe move for Obama to do this a few months before the election, the chances of a high profile crime by one of these people being publicized before the election is low, but many Hispanics with illegal relatives will be grateful, as well as the illegals themselves that vote illegally.
