Police Investigating (Minnesota) Rep. Kerry Gauthier for Alleged (Homosexual) Criminal Act
Northland's News Center ^ | August 15, 2012

Duluth, MN (Northlands NewsCenter) -- Minnesota district 7B Representative Kerry Gauthier is at the center of a criminal investigation by Duluth police. This is a particularly sensitive situation right now as incumbent lawmaker Gauthier will face Republican challenger Travis Silvers in November.

Police will only confirm that Representative Gauthier involved in an incident the Thompson Hill rest stop last month.

[Snip]

Police spokespeople say they are conducting a criminal investigation but they refuse to say why Gauthier was arrested.

However well placed sources today told the Northland's NewsCenter, the incident involved a 17 year old boy with whom Gauthier was reportedly engaged in a sexual act.

[Snip]

Our sources say Representative Gauthier met the young man on Craig's List and that police are investigating the potential that money changed hands which could make it a criminal matter.

My mistake. I missed the reference to the REPUBLICAN challenger in the second sentence.

But Gautier is DFL, as they call it in Minnesota, Democrat-Farm-Labor.

A Democrat, he is a former member of the Duluth City Council and former state treasurer for the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party.[1] He is also a social services case manager at Lake Superior Treatment Center.

I am sure that Harry Reid had nothing to do with this. And he will have a press release shortly.

Notice the word “Democrat” never appears. They mention the GOP challenger and the word “Republican” for that challenger may even associate the pervert with the GOP for a person simply skimming through the article.

Gee no mention of party affiliation.

That's not even completely accurate. They did manage to prominently work "Republican" into the second sentence of the story.

Obviously, Harry Reid was involved.

I cannot name the source, but rest assured that I have been told that Reid was indeed the “17 year old” involved in the act.

And that’s the truuuuuuuuth.

As your legislator, I authored (or supported) bills that increased education of sexual violence in our schools’ curriculum, changed laws that made sure criminals who engaged in repeated vehicle prowls were charged with a felony and made sure it was easy and safe for victims to report acts of sexual violence.

Yes. Particularly sensitive not because this creep has his pants down with a 17-year-old boy in a public restroom off I-35, but because he’s a Democrat running for re-election.

God help Minnesota.

The story indicates that the age of consent in MN is 16 so for this purpose it wasn’t a minor.

I just spoke to the reporter who did the story. I asked why his party affiliation was not in the story at all. He spent the next 15 seconds making mouth noises as he read his story then explained to me that this would of made the district description too long and they everyone knows he is a democrat.

I asked if simply saying "democrat" instead of Minnesota district 7B Representative was any shorter? He responded that there was no bias in the story and that he was not trying to slant anything.

I asked why he did not simply put the same description of "Challenger to Minnesota district 7B" for the republican ? He again mentioned the non-bias angle. He said he would update the story on their website and informed me he has only been a reporter for 13 months.

So there you have it, new guy in media with bias reporting thinking it is main stream.

“Wow he really blew his chance to get re-elected.”

Probably more accurate to say that the 17 year old boy blew Gauthier's chance to get reelected, but I doubt it. Gauthier's a Democrat. Bet his constituents reelect him, even if Gauthier were to get convicted before Election Day. Laws are for little people and Republicans.

The Democrats, the NY Times, Wash Post and all the TV news stations started the culture of corruption theme.

Now he can run for a seat in Congress and secure a leadership position in the democrat party. If he wants to run for president, he needs to do coke, eat dogmeat, hang out with a gang of users and find a domestic terrorist to write his autobiography.
