Meet Maryam Massihi. The 21-year-old hooker recently stole political consultant Bob Beckel's heart--at least for a few hours, at $300 per. Then Massihi (who used the names Tiffany and Cindy professionally) and her cohorts allegedly tried to extort $50,000 in hush money from the Democratic heavyweight (he ran Walter Mondale's 1984 presidential campaign). Beckel's recent run-in with Massihi & Co. is detailed in this search warrant affidavit filed August 23 in Alexandria, Virginia's Circuit Court. Beckel discovered his young consort via the Internet (Massihi's electronic come-on is below) and paid her by check, which proved helpful when cops began probing who was trying to shake down the 53-year-old Beckel.

Brian is smart and informed. His schtick is a smartA and he is good at it. He and the pompous one that hosts Fox News Sunday spar often and I think Chris Wallace comes across as snarky. I can’t tell if he knows Brian is joking or not. Sometimes I think he does and then he acts pompous again and I don’t think he does.

Beckel’s utterly predicable. What drives me round the bend is what Tantaros & Perino often say. Neither seems to miss an op for Palin-smashing, and both bend over backwards to appear “fair & balanced,” especially where gay marriage’s concerned.” Perino, particularly, is strictly GOP-e. Eric & Gregg (and Brian) seem to be truer blue. All in all, however political, it’s still a reality show and as such worse than a waste of time.

Yes. Problem is that even Shep runs circles around Chris, and Shep’s unwatchable. (Anyone catch that he liked Carney’s snarky remark about McCain’s choice for VP?)

I quit watching Fox News long before Beckel showed up as a staple on Hannity. I have caught him on Hannity briefly in between flipping channels, and he is an ass.

I will say it speaks volumes about the decline of Fox New from relatively conservative to shamelessly whoring for viewers. Beckel is a jackass and the fact they don’t fire him is all I need to know that Fox News is wholly worthless to me. Since Glenn Beck left, there is not one show I will sit and watch on the network.

I just watch my recording of Cavuto while “The Five” is on-air...I avoid them largely because of Beckle (and also because Cavuto is one of their finest people).
