To paraphrase Jack Nicholson, I invite them to strap on body armor, grab a rifle and stand to post. Either way I don’t get a rat’s ass what they think about the bravest men they will ever know that keeps them safe at night instead of cowering in a basement under their beds.
I’ve served 21 years so far and even I wouldn’t rate high enough to shine most special operators boots, which I would gladly if asked because of the hell they go through on my behalf.
Frankly, I smell desperation on the left, I feel the tide is turning and this bad dream is about to come to an end. As upset as it makes me, with knowledge even worse is to come. It does not make me angry any more because I am certain all this abuse they heap on the military, the right, the religious, the pro life, and all the rest will amount to nothing in the end, and they know it. So let them have their tantrums they are about to lose big time and it is going to be so sweet to savor.
Then the real fight is going to begin, and we better be ready.
