Now FedGov has grown in size, scope and destroyed states rights and controls EVERYTHING - a semi tractor trailer.
So the President is like the driver, however electing a conservative isn't going to turn a tractor trailer back into a formula one race car. The problem is the government itself, not who is driving.
Apparently, a lot of Brits think Thatcher was stark raving mad.
But history keeps vindicating her...
I doubt that.
The civil war ended with a unified nation. The fact the federal government has ballooned out of control is more an FDR fiasco.
Try reading “Washington goes to War” by David Brinkly. It pretty much outlines how we ended up with desk jockey DC.
Globalists will not be pleased.
nobody in the US realizes that european socialized medicine uses BRIBES FOR SERVICE. It is the dark bad open secret that is not discussed. You have to give “gratuity envelopes” to ensure you don’t get screwed or wait for months and die in line. (if you have the money)
Thyere’s no prospect of war breaking out between the euro countries as the EU breaks up. There just isn’t and that is the point that you avoided. Changing the subject to the US Civil War reinforces my point about seeing everything through a Civil War prism.
To your credit, it’s better than the Hitler people who see everything as WWII ad nauseum.

God you're slow, that is the exact point I was trying to make. The Europeans can end relationships WITHOUT war. We, over here, cannot even discuss a state or states leaving the USA with out being called a warmonger.
“We, over here, cannot even discuss a state or states leaving the USA with out being called a warmonger.”
If the shoe fits, I suppose. If you don’t like being called a warmonger, stop warmongering and demigogging the tired old Civil War arguements. It’s that simple.
Right up there with socialized medicine (NHS). Thatcher regretted NHS was one thing she could not privatize in UK.

Worst is the underreporting here on how ‘free’ means ‘scarce’. Our government schools have economic ignorance down to a science.
