Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told an annual anti-Israel protest in Tehran on Friday that the Jewish state was a "cancerous tumour" that will soon be excised, drawing a strong US rebuke.

The closer we get to a Romney administration, the more likely Israel’s enemies will want to act.

They (her enemies) know they have a friend in the White House who shares their desire for the destruction of Judaism and its home State.

Its going to be a long few months for Israel. Iran very well may move now rather than waiting for the US elect somebody with the balls to respond accordingly.

I think sometime real soon, Ahmadinejad's worst nightmares are going to come true and hellfire in the form of Israeli missiles will begin raining down on his pig mouth. In the blink of an eye, his thoughts will turn to "Why has Allah forsaken us?".

God will stop Iran when the eventual Iranian attack comes.

The KJV says only 1/6th of Gog’s forces will survive. That may include Iranian since they are part of the alliance.

Psalm 46:1-6
King James Version (KJV)

1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

This is very reminiscent of the quick about-face that the ayatollah pulled when Ronald Reagan was sworn in. If we can just win in November and hang on until January 20th.

Failing to hear an opposing opinion, why shouldn’t folks think Amadinejad was the one wearing the pants, and our Pres__ent Resident was wearing the skirt?

The rats are terrified to do anything. They spent over 3 years ripping GW for the weapons of mass destruction missing from Baghdad and the war they voted for before they they said it was all his.

If the mullah's have nothing but junk in them caves and are just a barking dog how will they explain that if they go about and back Israel ? That's the fix they have painted themselves into. If the barking dog has a bite, they will also be in a fix because the mullahs did just what they said they were going to do.

“I still find it hard to comprehend that anyone even listens to Iamanutjob.”

They do because he speaks for the Mullah's who rule Iran. The Mullas have called their last war council saying to the generals - war will come oin the next weeks, maybe as late as October.

It really depends on when their first nuke is ready to load on a missile. When it is, they will launch.

It’s a bad situation for Israel. If they use nuclear weapons first, they will be denounced for doing so by the rest of the world. They will have been the first since WW2 to do so. If they do not use them, they are going to find Iran hard to handle. Iran is a big country. If Israel attacks them first, it will bring a lot of Iranians into the fight that might not be so willing, otherwise. If Israel waits until the Iranian leadership lights off a nuke in Israel,it could very well be too late. And Israel doesn’t trust our president any more than we do. They cannot depend on Zero for any support.

Israel will make for damn sure that any attack happens AFTER the election if it is Israel that initiates it.

If Iran starts something before Nov 6th, all bets are off...

Thanks Perdogg. Oddly enough, I don’t think Israel is going to have to do much regarding Iran. However, since the rebuke to the Assad dynasty by the Islamic states — widely seen as a cold glass of reality for the Iranian mullahcracy as well — the time has come for another plug to my vanity post (if I can find it, I’m nowhere near where I keep my little bits of things like links, clippings, etc).

Wow, found it with one search attempt, even I am amazed, and I’m vain as hell.

Israel is a very small country surrounded by Sunni nations - Syria (ruled by Shiites for now but that will change shortly, majority is Sunnis), Jordan, Egypt, Syria, and Saudi Arabia. Lebanon is mixed. Saudi Arabia hates Iran with a passion and all but fought a proxy war against Iran in Iraq and now in Syria.

None of those countries wants Iran lobbing nukes around, and if Iran was dumb enough to launch any nukes, it would open the door for the Sunni nations to destroy whatever Israel doesn't. It'll be the Sunnis' best chance at wiping the Shiites off the map, and they'll be spoiling for a fight if they are affected by any fallout.

Hell, they spoiling for a fight now, and Obama is liable to drag us into a Shiite/Sunni war with Israel as a pretext.

With respect I must disagree. I think his first thought will be “Why is it so damn hot” followed closely by “I didn’t know pigs had such strong teeth.”

I don’t know if Israel will have to hit Iran, but if they do I sincerely hope they save enough munitions to insure that every ayatollah and imam reap their just rewards. If these wackos were actually sent into the presence of their holy one (dung be upon him) some of their disciples might decide to STFU.

A couple more years of the current civil war would also have that result — assuming “ruinous heap” isn’t a reference to Islam in the first place, in which case, it applies to all the defoliated areas where, by a strange coincidence, most of the Muzzies live.

I’d think you would be correct that lots of Persians dislike and wouldn’t jump for nutjob. But if they are attacked
first and some of the good people are killed, almost inevitable with an airstrike, that could strengthen the resolve of many people. I know Israel is well armed and capable, but they sure look like a tiny speck on the map, surrounded by ogres.
