President Obama Fields Softball Questions From KOB Radio DJ’s (NM-FM)
The Albuquerque Journal ^ | Fri, Aug 17, 2012 | Michael Coleman

No one expected KOB -FM’s “Morning Mayhem” radio hosts to subject President Obama to a Mike Wallace-style grilling about his economic policy this morning, but the DJ’s may have set a new standard for softball questioning of the president in an election year.

Here’s a sample:

KOB: If you had a superpower, what would it be?

Obama: This sounds — it’s kind of a weird super power, but if I had something that I could immediately wish for, I would love to be able to speak any language. Now that’s a weird super power — it might not come in handy to rescue folks from a burning building. But I’ve always wished that whatever country I’ve went to, whenever I’ve met somebody who spoke a different language that I could right away speak their language.

The pop music radio show hosts also asked about Obama’s favorite workout songs. The president mentioned old-school R&B greats Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye and then with a nod to contemporary music, he cited Nas, Jay-Z and Beyonce.

As for the all-important question of Red or Green chile?

“I think you’ve got to go with the classic red, although every once in a while green is solid,” Obama replied. “I’m just going with red on this one.”

KOB-FM and KKOB-AM used to be owned by the same company. KKOB is conservative news talk, carrying Rush, Hannity, Levin, etc. KOB-FM is pop youth -- did they ask whether Obama wears boxers or briefs?

I’d say it’s a softball. It’s not even the first time he’s been asked that dumb question so they knew he would be ready for it.

Softball? More like a whiffle ball, or a tennis ball! We could get into badminton stuff here, but I’ll refrain.....

So, the superpower he craves is “lying in tongues”, the ability to bullshit everyone at will in their native language. It figures, even if he knew the question in advance.

Does that include Austrian?

They should re-name their program

“Morning Mayhem”
to
“Morning Milquetoast”
(probably good with a glass of OJ)

ALARMING ! ! !

And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. Rev 13:7

I'm not by any means convinced that Obama is the antichrist — I believe the antichrist will make Obama look like a... nice community organizer — but he certainly wants to be.

The RNC has just produced a commercial with soundbites from this interview. Mark Levin just played a portion of it.
