Performing music without an invitation is trespassing at best. It hardly rises to the level of desecration. These girls are going to do prison time for publicly voicing anti Putin sentiments and nothing more.
They appear to be radical anarchist homosexuals wanting to force gay marriage on the Russian people through acts of vandalism against private property owners.
Meanwhile, Obama's merry band of Muslim Brotherhood boys are crucifying opponents of their president on handy dandy trees around Cairo and he cannot spare a moment to criticize them.
As if they couldn't just plop a soapbox down outside the church or on their own front porch and vocalize their opinions without violating other people's rights in the process?
They don't deserve anyone's support no matter the sentence.

Pussy riot is a feminist wing of a neo-bolshevik group “Vojna” aka “War”. Their activity is centered against a church and law-enforcement.
Another their acts are “Dick in the ass” punk performance in a courtroom, “mentopop” performance which was about robbing a supermarket wearing a mix of police uniform and a priest’s dress, burnind down one and turning upside down another police vehicle, a series of sexual assaults on police women in subways etc.
In fact some of their “comrades” were on trial for these things before, that is there this “Dick in the ass” performance from.

Make no mistake this wasn’t an attack on religion. The Russian Orthodox Church is now about as much about Christianity as the Landeskirchen was during Hitler’s rise to power. Any true Christian would be appalled at what’s going on with the Russian Church. Patriarch Krill didn’t move into the Kremlin to influence Russian government. Krill has moved into the Kremlin because the ROC has been bought and paid for by Putin. I applaud the courage of these young girls to publicly protest Putin’s corruption of the church.
Mark my words: You’ll most likely live to see Putin’s power rise to dictatorial levels in Russia.
