House Speaker Kurt Zellers, R-Maple Grove, is calling on state Rep. Kerry Gauthier, DFL-Duluth, to step down.
The Duluth News Tribune reported authorities investigated Gauthier for allegedly having oral sex with a 17-year-old boy at a highway rest stop in Duluth last month. Gauthier, 56, won't be charged, the paper reported.

Yep. She taught in Kennadale and lived in Arlington. Five students, and they often had group sex. Occurred over a two month period a year or so ago. ....She was married, with three kids, and husband was serving in military in either AFG or Iraq.
In Texas, it doesn’t matter that the males were over 18. It’s against the law for a teacher to have sexual relations with any student, regardless of age, because of the authority position of the teacher. ....I heard she may be sentenced to 20 years in prison.

In Dem circles, they are making much of the fact that both the legislator and the kid claim no money was exchanged in this sordid little encounter. But the claim is obviously false. What 17-year-old would lust for the company of an old man at a rest stop? The kid put an ad on Craigslist because he wanted some quick cash, and the solon here wanted . . . enough said.
