A new report by Britain’s Department for Education and Skills notes that an increasing number of schools are dropping the teaching of the Holocaust from history lessons to avoid offending Muslim students.

This story has been circulating since at least 2007. It seems true that some local UK schools avoid the Holocaust, but proof would seem to be in order for it to be proclaimed officially. I’d say such reports are probably premature.
After WWII, the Brits lost it. Several Labour governments then systematically dismantled their national pride, created an enormous welfare state, and their MSM destroyed their sense of family, faith, courage, honor and decency. Their version of political correctness is borderline insane.
Those who stand up with pride, like the English Defense League, the UK Independence Party, and the far right are shouted down, called hate groups, sometimes outlawed, but most importantly are kept out of political power by the two majority parties.
The Tories are now totally controlled by the equivalent of what we would call RINOs. They are now just a less strident version of Labour, perhaps not so incredibly foolish with money.
What's worse? Denying the Holocaust happened or not even mentioning it?

This genetics theory is absolute crap. Apart from anything else, many of those killed already had kids when they died. The problem is a leftist culture which has poisoned the minds of several generations now, possibly as part of an old Soviet demoralisation program which infiltrated the educational, media and intellectual establishments and began to deride and destroy old values in a way designed to make it easier to subvert the population towards supporting (or at least not resisting) Marxist-Leninism.

Two schoolboys were given detention after refusing to kneel down and ‘pray to Allah’ during a religious education lesson.
Parents were outraged that the two boys from year seven (11 to 12-year-olds) were punished for not wanting to take part in the practical demonstration of how Allah is worshipped.

I'm not sure myself what the situation is. So far as I can tell the country as a whole still has the Holocaust as part of the curriculum, though some Northern schools have opted out.

Yeah... I read that years ago, too. I don’t trust Snopes, but that doesn’t mean I am endorsing this story either.
Granted I'm not that much up on my history, but I had no idea there were that many Nazi Muslims. Guess if I were Muslim and found out members of my Nazi family had been involved in the Holocaust I'd be offended also.

So this story is a nonsense.
Any school that refused to teach it is breaking teaching regulations and the law. Any headmaster or teacher that refuses to teach it can be sacked.

UKIP is a fine, peaceful party. A proper conservative party.
The EDL and BNP are not. They are, esp the BNP, parties/groups who espouse racism, antisemitism and have links to hooligans and far right UK neo-nazi groups like Combat 18.

The teacher was suspended. I might add that this was one rather stupid teacher, not a policy.

A teacher has been suspended amid claims she punished two children who refused to worship Allah during a Religious Education lesson.
Alison Phillips, head (!) of RE at Cheshire’s respected Alsager High School, allegedly disciplined the Year 7 duo claiming they were disrespectful for refusing to kneel down and pray.......
After giving the two boys detention the school was believed to have received several complaints from parents about the long-standing teacher.
Today, a school spokesman said she was suspended over the allegations - but also for “ongoing inquiries centred around other practical issues”.
Joan Feenan, director of Cheshire County Council’s children’s services, said: “This authority is naturally concerned about complaints we have received from parents.............
“Together with the school, we will be thoroughly investigating those complaints, in a careful and considered manner, and informing parents of the conclusions reached.
“Educating children in Christian and other religious beliefs is part of the national curriculum in secular schools and I’m sure that the great majority of our parents welcome any efforts to further mutual understanding. ?????
“Having said that, this authority also accepts without question that such teaching should be carried out with awareness, sensitivity and sound common sense.
“Alsager is a high performing school with very supportive parents.
“I am confident that this matter will be resolved equitably.”
She also added that suspension was not a disciplinary measure.
One parent, Karen Williams, said after hearing the claims: “I am absolutely furious my daughter was made to take part in it and I don’t find it acceptable.
“I haven’t got a problem with them teaching my child other religions and a small amount of information doesn’t do any harm.
“But not only did they have to pray, the teacher had gone into the class and made them watch a short film and then said ‘We are now going out to pray to Allah’.
“And then two boys got detention and all the other children missed their refreshments break because of the teacher.”
