Obamacare was supposed to be President Barack Obamas legacy. But its looking like a political millstone.
The mammoth and unpopular health insurance overhaul weighed down Democrats in 2010 when Republicans helped turn seniors to their side.
....This could cost us the election,...the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committees political director wrote in a fundraising email last week. We have to get the facts out to voters immediately.
.....Right now, Romney might be winning the public-relations war in Florida, according to a poll from Rasmussen Reports,.... Asked which plan scares you more, the poll found 54 percent of Florida seniors said Obamacare, while 34 percent said the Ryan plan. Overall, 48 percent were more scared of Obamacare and 41 percent were more worried about Ryans plan,...
The Ryan-Romney plan would give new recipients a capped subsidy through Medicare to buy private insurance in 2022, and would only impact those who are currently under age 55. That distinction should allay concerns of seniors and those about to retire.
...Many Democrats grouse that, were it not for Obamacare, they wouldnt have faced a senior backlash in 2010 and would have more standing among seniors to attack the Romney-Ryan plan. Democrats hope that Obamacares negatives are old news and that the Romney-Ryan plan will suffer a worse fate in 2012 than Obamacare did two years ago.
Pollster John Zogbyreported a nationwide poll showing the Romney ticket got a Ryan bump of seven points buoyed largely by a surprising increase of Republican-ticket support among 18-29 year old voters.
The irony for Obama is that hes one of the best story tellers that weve seen in the presidency and he happens to be particularly inept in telling the story of Obamacare, Zogby said. Its not that he lost control of the dialogue. He never had it.....

The man couldn’t even tell his own story without getting Ayres to write it for him! How is he supposed to be good at creating a narrative?!
The MSM and those who see Obama as their pathway to European socialism will write the script they want voters to believe.
The fact that they literally told us to go sh## in a hat you are going to get this whether you like it or not has still got me reeling. Remember “we have to pass it so you can find out whats in it”?
But they're not worried about a (Death) panel of unelected bureaucrats deciding what medical procedures they can have.
F'ing boneheads. They deserve whatever happens to them.
You took the words right out my mouth, or keyboard. Best storyteller? What a jerk. He’s a storyteller alright - and its all fiction.(lies)
Opponents of President Obamas health care plan try to get into a heated town hall meeting in Ybor City on Thursday night. [Aug 2009]
Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California holding the gavel used to pass Medicare Reform, laughs as she walks across the street and into the U.S. Capitol as the House prepares to vote on health care reform in the U.S. Capitol in Washington, Sunday, March 21, 2010. Walking with Speaker Pelosi are from left, Rep. Steny Hoyer, D-Md. , Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga. , and Rep. John Larson, D-Conn.
Yuup Folks know he is a liar and that will be more evident daily now. He is so “Done” you can stick the fork in him.
BS. It's already happening. Look at how many doctors won't accept new patients on Medicare. It's obvious what more cuts will do.
The lie and stupid people is Obama's shield.
“”and he happens to be particularly inept in telling the story of Obamacare, Zogby said.”
From the Urban Dictionary:
(in-ep-toc’-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers. syn- socialism.
Unless we can get Obama out of the White House, this country is headed for ineptocracy.
The economic crisis in Greece is a classic example of the dangers of ineptocracy.
Passing Obamacare didn’t tell us what was in it.
What is in it is regulations that can change daily according to what this heathen woman running HHS says is in it.
The GOP should be running ads showing the massive hiring of new IRS agents that is planned
Public should love that
Good grief! Isn't that the typical libtard response to anything that blows up in their faces? Not that their Marxist vision for America is fundamentally flawed, but that they have to do a better job of selling the sheeple said snake oil.
The voters KNOW the facts. That's why they reject it.
There has to be a video available of Obama promising open hearings on healthcare with them being carried by CSPAN
The GOP should run it along with the headlines where it was passed in the middle of the night to”Save His Presidency”
“...non-partisan AARP ?”
That’s a laugh.
It is so very difficult for Obama to convince others how badly his opponent sucks, when he is viewed as the king suck of all time!
It is all I can do to look at the man’s face these days.
