A Chesterfield County man and Marine veteran is in a local hospital after being picked up by federal and local law enforcement officials concerned about threatening Internet postings.
Brandon J. Raub, 26, was in Hopewell's John Randolph Medical Center on Saturday.
"I'm currently in John Randolph in the psychiatric ward being held against my will," Raub said in a telephone interview.
Reports of his detention Thursday have gone viral on the Internet.
Raub said Secret Service, FBI and Chesterfield police officers came to his home Thursday. "They were concerned about me calling for the arrest of government officials," he said.
He was taken to the Chesterfield police station and then to the hospital, he said.

After he is released from the hospital and goes home and the SWAT team raids his home and kills him, he will own a lot of guns and drugs,and everything else they "discover" inside.
This story just hits a little too close to home - literally.
And since my congress critter, Eric Cantor, voted for NDAA, nothing would surprise.
Well duh, people think they are safe and hidden away while posting on the web, unless you are offshore, traveling cross country or possibly after using some clever cut-outs such as ISP spoofing.
First off if you really must get nasty against the Feds do it from a place where you cannot be traced from or they will come there and find you are not.
Its already gone into effect, infiltrate the conservative forums, the snipers forums, anything forum of the type that could or will be a threat to Obamas socialism and then take note of who the troublemakers are, and then send the goon squads out to “evict” them, detain them for mental purposes or find a way to have them involved in a terrorist attack like planting evidence upon them.
Foremost is to hammer into the publics eye and mind that these people are “bad’, or deranged.
FB has become more and more intolerant of conservative posters. FB routinely bans them, etc.

Of course they deny arresting him. Such as they now are, one’s Constitutional Rights such as speedy trial,4th amendant, not being forced to incriminate one’s self, do not kick in until arrested.
only problem is they’d have to get a subpoena to find out who we are, and they have no legal grounds for getting one.
In Obama’s “brave new world” there is not legal...only regal.

Every thing that is put on Facebook goes all over the World along with the info as to who put it there. The Governmental agencies,State and Federal monitor the Facebook posts.
It doesn't take having government officials monitoring FaceBook. All it takes is having just one Leftist among your "friends" there, who decides to be outraged by what you write, and send an email to some agency denouncing you as a dangerous crazy right-wing-nut.
Stalinist repression was not implemented by legions of full-time Secret Police. It was implemented by hundreds of thousands of permanently-resentful people who would report their neighbors for any little thing.

The FBI is a sick joke - based on the lies I was told by a local FBI worker when I tried to report Obama’s forged birth certificate.

Granted some people are overly focused and may be borderline nutjobs, but for the rest of us as patriotic conservatives with a christian morality we must NOT back down or hide away in the night, but be very care full what you say and where, your enemy may be closer than you think.
He does sound like a kook, so a psychiatric ward may not be a bad place for him to spend a few days.
Why arrest the officials? Kafkaize them in a mental institution instead.

I might add.. Walker's conservative and anti-communist views caught the wrath of that era's MSM and they published lie after lie about him including that he led violent attacks on blacks at a Mississippi university. Walker sued but the SCOTUS ruled the the wire service (AP I believe) simply made a mistake. I think that when General Walker reached his 80s the Congress granted him the retirement that he forfeited when he resigned his commission to fight against communism in the U.S.
Walker was a W.W.II special forces hero and Korean War vet. (He led the troops at Little Rock, Ark. under orders from President Eisenhower 1959, IIRC.)
My emphasis above.. if this Marine is being treated like JFK and RFK treated Edwin Walker we damn well better see to it that the Marine gets the same protection that Edwin Walker got. Even the ACLU helped Walker back then. Now?

On FR (and other places I post on), I try to be very careful to not say anything that could be interpreted as something the police or SS would take an interest in. Whenever anybody posts, they should take a second and think "Is there any way that what I'm about to say could be interpreted as a threat of (or a call for) physical violence?", and if so, clarify your wording.
