Apparently they can’t, or they would be doing it.
The only reason they can’t try him is because of the current law. The only reason this terrorist grew a beard was because of the law. If the lawyer told his client to grow the beard to delay the trial, can’t the lawyer be charged with contempt?
I would go ahead with the trial anyway. What is more important? Is he being clean shaven more important than a trial for mass murder? They have lost perspective here.
