Obama enables those (that is, Muslims) who want to spread their Islamic Sharia law throughout the US. Sharia especially terrorizes women and children. Obama must be voted out.

Thanks ~ people imagine that religious authorities have formalized all the reincarnation beliefs, or banned them, and succeeded at doing just that.

Actually, they never did get around to formalizing all of them pro or con, and banning didn't work ~ although in some places folks imagine banning did work.

When Arab and Persian Islamic armies invaded India ~ they opened the doors for all sorts of modifications of Islamic belief. People in Pakistan still know what castes their families were, and even what their family names might be ~ in local languages.

Islam is a thin patina in many places, and probably thinner than Islamic authorities would like you to believe.

I said I shouldn’t have to rely on anecdotal evidence. I should see a significant number of web documents stating that a significant number of Pakistani Sunnis (at least) believe in reincarnation.

Jesus himself stated that John the Baptist was Elijah.

Please, this is reincarnation? Nice try. Jesus was referring to Malachi and the prophet that was to be a forerunner to Christ "in the spirit and power of Elijah" Luke 1:17.

Clearly, if a man is born blind due to his own sins, those must have been committed in a previous life.

Clearly you are reaching for a reincarnation proof. No, he still has the original sin from Adam, but as Jesus says: 3 Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. 4 I[a] must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. 5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

> ...Jesus was referring to...

Anecdotal evidence is okay as proof then? Good.

Thought this posting was about the travesty per this child; instead; it is an argument/debate as to where - or 'where not'; 'reinarnation' fits into Muslim belief.

Whatever the hell they believe; this 'evil'; freaking; absolute ignorance of these believers; is a planetary scourge. We worry about every deadly virus in the 'chute'; and yet; ignore this.

Why don't you 'google'? On your own, yet. . .

Better than non-contexual proof.

(’Technically; they do not’; but who knows what lurks in the ‘minds of men’.) That said; reincarnation - or not - does not alter the horrific circumstance of this child; or help her family to deal with it; nor does it help any and all; who are so threatened by this darkest of vile ignorance; that passes itself off as a wisdom.

Oh yes; and this 'kindness'. . .

Police have taken her parents into protective custody following threats.

According to Pamela Geller; they are 'missing'. As for 'protective custody'; that simply leaves a 'cold chill' - or should.

Arrest of Pak girl on blasphemy charges deeply disturbing: US

The Pioneer
Tuesday, August 21, 2012

Washington: The US today called the arrest of a young Pakistani girl on blasphemy charges “deeply disturbing” and praised President Asif Ali Zardari for coming out against it.

“This case is obviously deeply disturbing, the arrest of a young Pakistani girl on blasphemy charges,” State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland told reporters at her daily news conference.

“President Zardari, to his credit, went out very quickly. So conceivably, we’ve been welcoming of that move in Islamabad, as well,” Nuland said appreciative of the move of the Pak president.

“Zardari has now asked the Interior Ministry to look into the arrest and has underscored that vulnerable populations have to be protected from misuse of the blasphemy law,” she said.

“We would call on the Pakistanis to have that investigation in a transparent way. And we think that the president’s statement is very welcome, and we urge the government of Pakistan to protect not just its religious minority citizens but also women and girls,” Nuland said.
