Republican U.S. presidential challenger Mitt Romney plans to make public his 2011 tax return by October 15, a senior campaign adviser said on Sunday, as President Barack Obama's re-election team pressed its criticism of Romney's decision not to disclose more about his personal taxes.
Romney, a former private equity executive who is one of the richest men ever to run for president, has come under pressure for months from the Obama campaign to release more years of tax returns.
He has released his 2010 tax return and estimates for 2011 but does not plan to reveal more years of returns. In April, he requested an extension from the Internal Revenue Service to file his 2011 tax forms, while estimating his tax liability at $3.2 million for last year.

Romney should have his accountant release a redacted copy of his returns showing only the total tax he paid each year along with how much he gave to charity.
The accountant should also release a notarized statement swearing that these are the correct amounts.

They want 2008 Tax Returns. They suspect (and they may be right, and the may have inside info on it) that Romney participated in the Swiss Bank Amnesty program. Mitt is probably hoping by releasing this years, it’ll please most people. I think most people could care less if he did the Swiss Bank Amnesty, but the Dims/Media would hammer him over the head with it relentlessly and would push everything else (jobs, budget, obamacare) off the table for the rest of the election.
2011 is last year, and he already said he’d provide these. This is just a more detailed answer on when to expect it.
My only criticism is to stop talking about it all together, and keep the heat on the economy and Obama’s failed policies.
Obamacare is the only reason that Obama wants to divert attention to something else. He is scared Schitless of PAUL Ryan, plus he can't run on HIS RECORD.
Heard it said on News this morning, that more Seniors are afraid of Obamacare than they are of the Ryan plan.... me & many of my senior friends included.
