Trump Fires Back at Obama Campaign Smear
NewsMax.com ^ | August 19, 2012 | Steve Coz

Posted on 08/19/2012 7:50:13 PM PDT by pistolpackinpapa

Donald Trump blasted President Barack Obama’s senior adviser Robert Gibbs Sunday as “vicious and hateful” after the former press secretary called Trump a “right-wing nut job” on Fox News.

Trump told Newsmax. “I built a net worth in excess of $8 billion, built a tremendous company, and have employed tens of thousands of people. I hardly see where I qualify under his definition.” He recently declined an offer to deliver a prime-time speech at the Republican National Convention, but he has been promising to deliver a big “surprise” at the convention in Tampa, Fla., which begins on Aug. 27.

“The Obama representatives like Robert Gibbs attack people viciously, but people like me will not be silent and will answer them back.....that is why the country is so terribly divided."

Trump added. “Obama has no solutions. Obama has failed the country and its great citizens, and they don’t like it when somebody such as myself speaks the truth about this — it hurts too much."

During an interview on “Fox News Sunday,” Gibbs used the smear against Trump while trying to make a point about GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

“I'm not going to be lectured by Mitt Romney or anybody on the Romney campaign about the tone of this campaign,” Gibbs began. “This is a guy who's . . . auctioning off dinners with the birther in chief, right-wing-nut-job Donald Trump, who still questions whether or not the president was born in the United States of America.

“Robert Gibbs is nothing more than a mouthpiece for a desperate campaign that once promised us hope and change and has given us nothing but debt and unemployment,” Trump said. “Our country is in serious trouble, and something must be done.”

I can't stand the guy, but even I have to admit that Donald Trump really pulls no punches at all. I wish every GOP political advisor had the brains to lay out their campaigns as simply as this:

"Robert Gibbs is nothing more than a mouthpiece for a desperate campaign that once promised us hope and change and has given us nothing but debt and unemployment," Trump said. "Our country is in serious trouble, and something must be done."

I heard that interview and was curious why Robert “The Smirker” Gibbs even brought Trump into the conversation.

There is a reason.

Don’t go all wobbly now, Donald. Don’t let them make you go postal. They want to know your secret.

Someone had better start talking like a real person-I’m sick to death of PC speech.

Barry is undocumented. Barry is a liar. Barry is an admitted drug user. Barry is bisexual or worse. Barry supports killing children in the womb and supports leaving them to die if they survive an abortion AND he uses tax money to provide for it. Barry IGNORES the law of the land. Barry is accomplishing just EXACTLY what he wanted-the destruction of American’s LIVES-IN the womb and OUT.

PC speech is killing this country. Speak like a person losing their house, business, savings and family or STFU.

PEOPLE ARE ANGRY. And, they’re getting angrier by the second.

Robert Gibbs should choose his words carefully, for they could be his last.

Somebody needs to tell him that Alvin Onaka recently confirmed to AZ SOS Ken Bennett that Obama’s birth record in Hawaii is not legally valid and the image that was posted on the White House website is not a “true and accurate representation of the original record on file” at the HDOH.

Bennett requested that the gender, date, city and island of birth, mother’s name, and father’s name claimed on the White House image be verified as legally true and that the image be verified as a “true and accurate representation of the original record on file”. Onaka refused to verify ANY of those things, and the only reason allowable by law for him to not verify those things is if Onaka CANNOT certify that they are true.

IOW, the HDOH has already spilled the beans on Obama’s documentation problem. He has no legally-determined birth facts based on a Hawaii record. If he’s got birth facts that are legally probative, they are from a birth certificate originating somewhere besides Hawaii.

For a while they tried to hide the truth by making carefully-crafted comments that were assumed to affirm the truthfulness of Obama’s claims, by altering their 1960-64 birth index so it includes legally non-valid records, and even altering at least 3 BC numbers (which could not have been issued in 1961 to the people who now have those numbers - no matter which of the 3 versions that Hawaii officials have CLAIMED the numbering was done in 1961 is used).

But when asked point-blank, Onaka did the right thing and refused to verify what he can’t legally verify.

Somebody needs to tell Robert Gibbs his slip is hanging out; the truth has already been disclosed by Alvin Onaka.

Like it when Trump 'get's mad'; because he at least tries to 'get even' with Obama. He is not afraid to dish it out and/or back. Of course; just a 'little sand' in Obam's eyes; turns him into zombie on the march.

All considered; Trump should be prepared for anything, from Obama.

At this point, I don’t care. He speaks out strongly against these jokers...and gets media attention.

(Let’s hope he doesn’t go off the rails until he ceases to be usefull.)

PEOPLE ARE ANGRY. And, they’re getting angrier by the second.

Meantime; the Repubs are still figuring out 'rhetoric' that resonates! Freaking

truth-to-lie resonates; and we cheer; whenever a Repub speaks to it and 'with anger' - on our behalf.

We just do not have enough who share the courage of Allen West and Marco Rubio.

Mitt again, recently offered; that 'two good people can disagree'. . .

OMG; this is painful. Our polls would be 'off the charts'; if political correctness were publicly killed/buried by Republicans.

I saw one of the last photos of Salvador Allende crouched down in the Chile, helmet on, machine gun in hand before he was killed.

I would love to see the same picture of the White House and U-no-who in the same predicament.

Anyone the White House reps bring up is a person they fear or they would not do it. They fear anyone who would dare speak out with courage and confront them offensively rather than being put on defense. Trump has been taunting Obama on his Twitter account every day. I bet they are afraid he has a big secret he will reveal about Obama at the RNC convention. Cavuto asked Trump what the big secret was and Trump said “I can’t say, but it will be the truth.” (Draw your own conclusions about that, but I just bet Obama is wondering what he meant by that!) They know Trump has been digging around.

“after the former press secretary called Trump a “right-wing nut job” on Fox News.”

Trump is never one to not take the chance to be in front of a camera. He has declined to speak at the GOP convention. This is odd, this is very odd. At the same time the former Press Secretary is attacking Trump and calling him a “right wing nut job.”

Trump either has something that is devastating to Obama or they think he has. Why attack Trump in this manner unless there is something out there that is very bad for Obama. If they were not afraid of something out there, the best thing for them to do is just laugh it off and ignore Trump.

They are frightened of something.

True; and being 'thin skinned' not an admirable trait for a 'big guy'. That said; am glad he takes on Obama; without a PC filter. Pathetic that this is 'refreshing'; but the sheer lack of courage among a gutless majority of our Leadership; makes it just that.

Exactly, maybe Gibbs Can Enlighten us on how he will employ the 1200 people when they lose their jobs if Obumbo gets reelected and Trumps has to lay them off, I guess they will be the latest applicants for Disability, food stamps and welfare. Those people will then be Listed as Employed, because standing in line for Goverment Benefits will qualify for employment for the year. You then come back the next day and Apply for unemployment since you only have to work for one day to Qualify

So why, Bennett having established all this, is Obama still on the ballot in AZ? Or for that matter, anywhere else?

Laurel and Hardy. The police turn on their flashlights, catch the burglar in the act, and then the movie stops? Dissonance.

Bennett claims he thought the non-verification of the birth date was just a typing error (the typist just sort of forgot to type in the 6 items requested on the application itself). But the legal presumption that has to be followed is the presumption of regularity - that it was processed according to the standard protocols and is in compliance with the law.

He won’t be able to claim “typing error” any more when his own state AG sets him straight on that...

One other thing too. The media never bothered to see what Bennett actually requested from Onaka. The 2nd page of Bennett’s request (the special requests) were all that anybody reported - even though he twice referenced the official application (page 1). He made it abundantly clear that his special requests were IN ADDITION TO the requests on the actual application.

Not one journalist bothered to see and report on what application form he was talking about - which he also referenced in interviews before Onaka responded, describing how he followed the standard protocol listed on the HDOH website. Not one journalist bothered to request the actual communications, to see what was on that application form that Bennett sent.

Not one journalist bothered to look up and report on the statute that governed Onaka’s response. Not one.

Except TPM Muckraker, which says they requested the communications but failed to report on the actual application that was sent in.

Journalistic malpractice, all the way around.

And that is why normal people like you and me are stuck spending our time, money, and energy to undo the damage. The media and the bureaucrats are milking us dry while screwing us, and I’m fed up with it. The general public as well as the culprits HAVE to be made aware of their own negligence and the high price for it. And that price needs to fall on the heads, wallets, and handcuffed wrists of the culprits themselves, if we’re ever to get out from under this crap.

Saw the interview also, the Trump rant by Gibbs didn't fit into the interview. Maybe a diversion tactic....ridicule, discredit others to change direction.

Gibbs was being called out on Obamacare death panels of unelected people cutting services in Medicare to help fund Obamacare. Gibbs tried to call it increased efficiency. (Paraphrase) He was dancing around the reality --seniors will be impacted and services limited.
