What I can’t get my head around is the fact that you don’t see the danger in another four years of Obama.

I don’t think that this is the right decision, but I understand it.
I will not vote for Mitt Romney.
I pray that years from now we can all explain our votes to folks we’re proud to pass the torch to.

That has to be the immediate goal - in a nutshell. Hopefully, we can get President Romney to take notice of our concerns starting January 20, 2013. It will be a long fight but it must be won!

Even though I'm registered as an independent (who would never vote Democrat, of course) I'll probably end up holding my nose and voting for Romney as well.
But I always knew you would "come around." I despise the demonization coming from both sides of the pro-Romney/anti-Romney divide here on FR.
I will continue to respect those individuals on either side who are following their convictions.
But I maintain that the GOP probably couldn't have chosen a weaker candidate than Romney against 0bama, and if we fail to retake the WH in November, that is where the blame will lie, not on any Freeper.

Above is a picture taken of a photograph that my eldest uncle took at a rally for Wendell Willkie 72 years ago this month. He took other photos of the event, including what he called "newsreel men" and "newspaper men", plus "the sweltering crowd" and such. He noted that it was 102 degrees in the shade.
