I mean if “role” means active role in terms of writing the script for the smear, I am sure that Dear Leader didn't have a role.
However, I am also sure that Dear Leader was “involved” or “knowledgeable” as to what was happening.
Once the general public starts to see how much lying is going on in the name of team Obama, I hope they will vote the man out of office.

What about the growing problems between China, Taiwan and the Phillipines along with Vietnam over territorial waters?
What about the continued massive unemployment?
What about substantive issues that the media in their haste to create the myth of the Won ignore.
People are sick of it.
Their focus groups and internal pollings are probably telling them that the extreme neagaivity that they’ve been using is hurting them more than Romney, hence the new feint towards being the good guy. They’ve probably discovered that the American public seem to believe (falsely) that Obama is a likeable guy, and that they shouldn’t squander the only thing they’ve got going for them. His sheer chutzpah, of saying something one week, and denying it the next week is completely pathological.
