Jim Webb might be a terrible senator and a horse's ass to boot, but he was one of the finest small-unit combat leaders of the Vietnam War. In his four-year post-Annapolis career, Webb was awarded the Navy Cross, the Silver Star, two Bronze Stars (with Combat "V") and two Purple Hearts - and that from the medal-stingy Marine Corps. I have no disagreement with the rest of your rant, but I will not let that false charge go unchallenged.

Sure we was a fine Marine combat leader, but Jim Webb forgot the most important attributes needed to serve the people of Virginia and America, namely honor, courage, discipline, and honesty. He is completely devoid of these qualities today.

Because they've been the declared enemy of the left for decades, perhaps?

Because the Democratic Party has codified into law open and blatant discrimination against them? Because nearly everything emanating from Hollywood nowadays portrays them as weak, character-flawed, or downright evil?

Most white males work in the private sector now, largely because they have to. Affirmative action dictates that they need not apply for government jobs, it has been a waste of time for decades. So, now we have an election in which the clear divide is between the public sector and the private sector. If white males vote their wallet issues, they will vote Republican. I'm surprised 28% will still vote for their own subjugation. I'll bet more than half of those are under 25.
