Well...not really. If you read enough liberal bloggers and listen to lib talking heads, they still blame Reagan for many things. They blame him for starting the shift away from the idea that big government knows best. Other conservatives had talked about it, but Reagan was the first to put conservatism into practice. At least since Calvin Coolidge.
And Reagan is responsible for the AIDs epidemic doncha know. You might think it was male homosexuals having unprotected sex even after the disease reached epidemic proportions (mostly among male homosexuals and intravenous drug users). But you'd be wrong...according to homosexual activists. Yes, it was Ronnie Reagan. And you want to know why? Because Reagan didn't commission every medical researcher in the U.S. to stop whatever they were doing and try to come up with a cure for AIDs. So male homosexuals could keep on having unprotected sex. So there. In these sick, twisted people's minds, Reagan is responsible for the AIDs crisis.
