It seems that every cycle we get polls that show the GOP doing well in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Washington. Then the GOP spends time and money on them, only to lose by 5 - 7 %
ain’t that the truth.
Well, you have to remember that Mitt’s dad was governor of Michigan from 1963-1969.
Mitt went to school in the Metro Detroit area and still has some family in the area.
That is a bigger boost than for most candidates. Hopefully, that will help him pull out a win in November.
In 2008 it took a once in a generation financial crisis in September to make the difference.
In 2000 it took an October surprise to lose the popular vote.
It will take something similar.
Say it with me: V-O-T-E-R F-R-A-U-D.
That's why all the usual suspects are filing lawsuits to prevent implementation of voter photo ID laws - to keep the 'Rat fraud machine going. If the PA law stands, there's good chance that won't happen here this time.
Now, if we can just get morons like Aiken to STFU and stop trying to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory ...
No, actually no such polls existed.
I’ve noticed that trend going back to 2000, at least, and mainly for PA and WA. I recall in ‘04 that Zog and Ras both had WA in “leans Republican” for a couple of months. It makes you wonder.
If the candidates don't have their own pollsters, conducting real polls, suggesting the best places to commit resources, well, candidates that don't are incompetent boobs. They don't deserve to win anything.
I doubt even the Minneapolis Star and Tribune would accuse Romney of being incompetent.
