The documentary 2016: Obamas America, which paints a bleak picture of the world should President Obama be re-elected, has been in theaters for a couple of months. But Yahoo! Movies, one of the biggest online movie listings sites, does not list its theaters or showtimes
While its easy to find out when and where the likes of Expendables 2 and Sparkle are playing, in addition to independent films like Sleepwalk With Me, there are no listings for the Dinesh DSouza-directed 2016. In fact, Yahoo! Movies appears not to have the documentary listed in its database at all.
I was interested in seeing the new movie, 2016: Obama's America so I went to Yahoo! Movies as I usually do to find the time and showing. I found that you cannot search for it on Yahoo! Movies, one disgruntled moviegoer told FOX411s Pop Tarts column. I checked the movie's site and found out where it was opening on August 24th and so I checked those theaters for that date and it does not show up. Is it possible that Yahoo! is trying to keep people from watching this movie?
Yahoo! Movies did not respond to our request for comment. But the movie's director and producer did.

If the GOP were smart (and I haven’t seen much evidence of that) they would secure the rights to the movie and put it on network TV several nights to get the fullest dissemination and educate the public about the kenyan and his plans for Socialist Amerika.
there was never an issue with Michael Moore getting his disgraceful movies out
I just used Yahoo movies to look up my local cineplex and it shows “2016’ as starting on August 24.
Just shows you haw inbred liberals are with themselves...

Going to see it Friday, first date and it was her idea!
Do you think the FOX article forced their hand?
No way to check whether archived cache’s to see whether Yahoo! had ‘2016’ listed before article?
If this movie went bootleg and hit the pirate video sites on the net...young potential voters would see it - it would go viral - fast.
You may wish to bring a ring with you. Don’t want to let her get away.
They must still be trying to correct then. I check Yahoo Movies near me and there were no listings. I went to Moviefone and there were four listings. I then checked one specific multiplex theater and the Yahoo listing did not include 2016, but on Moviefone, it was shown with the rest.
Liberal elites are at war with the people of the United States.
Hmm
Have to check it out - Ridgefield Park just down I 80 from me
I heard an interview with the producer. It seems they are doing a slow roll out on purpose. Building buzz by keeping it hard to see? He said it will be all over the country by election time.
I see the movie in the showtimes for local theaters. But it is greyed out so there is no graphic, review or trailer information for it. It’s not listed in the “Now in theaters” section.
Here is the GOOD NEWS! The movie is still drawing BIG CROWDS! EVEN IN NYC!

have to thank Facebook, she noticed that I listed Big Trouble in Little China (her fav) as my favorite movie and I “like” Glen Beck...I am sure she will find out quickly that I am an idiot
Man, you already got lucky. Hope it gets even better.
It’s an arthouse movie, it’s on too few screen (arthouse screens probably) to be in the big list. But if your local arthouse does report data to Yahoo and you do the search for all movies in my town you’ll find it.
This is weird. Check pirate bay, isohunt, cloud whatever, either there is no listing, or if listed, when checked it has been removed, or if listed and not removed there are no seeders.
This is extremely unusual. Actually, i’d say close to impossible absent a concerted effort to bury it.
Box Office Mojo (one of the best sites for box office info) had the weekend figures listed, but not the daily ones. That may be because the daily figures aren’t being reported, as it is only in 169 theaters at this point. It banked just shy of $1.3 MILLION this past weekend, for a total of just over $2 MILLION to date. It was ranked #13 out of all films currently showing in America. You can also use BOM to see if the film is playing in your area; although the 2016 movie website gives you a current/opening soon list by state...major expansion coming this weekend.
I’ve been following the progress to see when it’s coming to my area (metro Detroit). The theater near me has scheduled ONE showing — at 12:01 AM!!!!
An interesting thing happened to me when I searched “2016themovie”. A screen popped up and said that due to an unusually large number of searches I had performed I needed to prove I was a person and not a computer. Of all the searches I do everyday that had never happened.
Eh, probably just the hiccups of marketing an independent movie without studio support. It’s not easy to do.
‘Ek Tha Tiger’ is another movie doing phenomenal business in limited theaters, and it isn’t on the list of daily box office numbers, either...
Looks like a big roll out on Friday 24th August...
will be at a local pic-place this week end...
....to all....and don't forget to show your appreciation by clapping the film at the end.

Buckeye, you know that my comment was satire, and that I posted the article to illustrate that Yahoo! (along with most of the msm) has indeed chosen sides?
I just did the same and got this:
I didn’t (and don’t) do a search for the movie. I just looked up the showtimes for my local cinema and there was “2016” saying it starts on 8/24
