but for once in a blue moon, "Newsweek" and I agree on their cover story.
Okay, Thursday night games are as follows:
Green Bay 27 at Cincinnati 10: Pack victory & big's frenzy...
honored on new USPS stamp--
Jacksonville 10 at Baltimore 14: Hitch still swears by that Black Byrd Defense...
and so do I--
Arizona 9 at Tennessee 24: The Fisherless Boys...
find another acorn--
Friday night it is Philadelphia 17 at Cleveland 24: The Real McCoy shows his stuff...
in the 4th quarter--
Atlanta 35 at Miami 13: Vick's Old Team bites the Phins...
right where it hurts--
New England 31 at Tampa Bay 17: If its good enough for Brady...
its good enough for me--
San Diego 28 at Minnesota 9: Even a cross-dressing quarterback...
cannot help the Viqueens--
Chicago 10 at NY Giants 3: Before all you Bears fans start screaming 'Defense! Defense!" just remember...
Brian Urlacher just got dumped by Jenny McCarthy--
Jenny, why did you break up...
with Brian Urlacher?
Well...
well-- I guess--
It was when I found out Brian...
was not a Dallas Cowboy.
Seattle 13 at Kansas City 27: MY Old Dallas Texans welcome the Seahags and disrupt...
their dance routine--
Now, on Saturday night:
Indianapolis 24 at Washington 10: RG3 finds...
Luck is not on his side--
Pittsburgh 38 at Buffalo 3: Yes, Big Ben is raping...
and pillaging dead animals again!--
Detroit 24 at Oakland 9: Raider Fans on the outside...
looking in again--
Houston 31 at New Orleans 10: The thousand yars and one-half stare...
is still in effect--
Sunday is my 65th birthday and in my honor the NFL has these games:
San Francisco 27 at Denver 14: Old Man Manning drops his soap...
in Denver shower--
Carolina 9 at NY Jets 31: Tebow's Widlcat runs...
over Panthers--
Oh, yeah...
almost forgot St. Louis 17 at Dallas 31: So many injuries, we had to used one of our Cowgals...
at the tight end spot--
What's so funny, Charlie? Is it...
Bendy's picks?
No, Denise, but I do find it funny...
you are sleeping with Bender again--
Why, Charlie, why...
would you think that?
Honey, I've seen...
your new tattoo!

Bend! Say it ain't so? Not....
with Charlie Sheen's old, worn out squeeze--
STFU Chris! That's Bender...
you are talking about!
ya'll picks?
My pick is mountain meadow silence and crickets. TV signals no longer come to my home thanks to our “Glorious Government”. I might pick up a few games on the net or radio but the real loser is the FAN!
Go Browns
Picking preseason games is an exercise in futility. That said, no way the Panthers lose the first half of that game. The second half is a crap shoot.
Thanks for the enthusiasm for all football. Hate to even guess on preseason as it usually comes down to the deepest talent pool. This I think bodes better for the Bengals rather than those NYG’s who have a massive payroll in the first string whereas Cinci has a depth of talent and won’t see pay caps until after next season....
Cheers

BrownsGadzooks, Ben, You're talking so low again...
I can hardly hear ya!
Golly, Bend! You're so loud, you startled me...
and I've been dead since 1987!
Yeah, keep it down, Bendy-- I'm trying to sell...
overseas orphans on a timeshare plan!
Same here, too, Bendy-- Your loud voice...
made me forget my Super Beta Prostate spiel--
Don't mean to pile on, Mr. B...
but you were so loud, you knocked my bear out of the tree...
in front of my house--
Sunday is my birthday. I too will be 65. Go Chiefs
My prediction?:
A nice evening snooze.
“Pre-Season” games, glorified scrimmages, are industrial strength sleeping pills.
to the deepest talent pool-- Really, Jumper, isn't there a easier way...
to get the morning paper?
Manning drops the soap again...LOL!...agreed!
an exercise in futility. Agreed, Ghost of Lee, exercise...
is futility!
Say, Seven, shouldn't that be...
"Resistance is futile?"
Not from my...
viewpoint--
Seven, are you...
getting fat?
La-la, la-la, I can't...
hear you--
Oh, now I see...
your...
ad--
Bendy, don't tell anyone about it and I'll make it...
worth your while--
My lips...
are sealed!
Now, now, Bendy...being a hater is not ever pretty. Was that your objective, conservative, logical mind that said my beloved GEE-Men will only score 3 itty-bitty points against Da Bares Friday night, or your emotions got the best of you?
Pete Carroll has decided to start rookie quarterback Russell Wilson for the Kansas City game - this kid is going to be great, so hang on to your stadium cushion.
ppppppppppppppppppps! Correct post is below: Chicago 10 at NY Giants 38: Before all you Bears fans start screaming 'Defense! Defense!" just remember...
Brian Urlacher just got dumped by Jenny McCarthy--
Jenny, why did you break up...
with Brian Urlacher?
Well...
well-- I guess--
It was when I found out Brian...
was not a Dallas Cowboy.
Bendy, you have them right except the Seahawks...they’re better than you think they are... ;)
Our Fisherless Boys are starting our new QB and announced he will start the regular season.
I like your pick - Titans over AZ 24-9.
Poor Jenny, she looks like she’s stuck between spit or swallow!!
“Bendy, you have them right except the Seahawks...theyre better than you think they are... ;)”
I hope you’re right. They’re starting Russell Wilson at QB this week. The kid’s amazing.
I didn't think you were a 'hater,' and you have picked the Giants before(but I know my team is not in your Top Five NFL squads). Good luck to your 'Boys this year...the NFC East got more interesting this year (or as some NY friends might say: 'innaresting') because of RGB 3).
Morning, Pharm, you can check it out...
HERE where I posted my picks before I started this FR thread--
Now, I do hate them deadgum, no count Jersey Jints...
every time they play my Boys--
But I am certain you hate my Boys...
when we play them.
But we can agree to agree that Lea Michele...
has nice tats--
On both...
sides--
Surely you do love it...
when a plan comes together?
I surely...
do, Bend!
Bendy, Hannibal! Both you stop...
calling me 'Shirley!'
Morning Blackie! Them Seahags may surprise us...
and then again, they may just pluck it all up again this year--
That last photo of Jeri....that’s not from a movie by any chance, is it?
Sigh....
thats not from a movie by any chance, is it? Sigh.... That photo...
is from a film she did that went straight to video. Seven asked I flipped the picture to disguise it because after "Voyager" finished, she was typecast. And finally was desperate for work. So she did an independent production titled Seven Does Nine.
Well, Ghost of Lee, a girl's...
got to eat--
But, I guarantee that we will show up for the game and play as hard as we can.
On the plus side for us, the second round pick Reuben Randle, a wide-out out of LSU has had an amazing camp and looks to start...oh...and tell your secondary to be aware of guys named Cruz and Nicks. No need to worry about Manningham: he's with the Farty Whiners.
pickup! Hello, guys, we need to make this a teachable moment...
with beers all around--
I know both of you are passionate about your teams, so no one eats crow here...
but the dog is magnificent.
Besides, we all know both the Boys and GEEE- Men...
are jack sh!t next to Da Bears!
Now, isn't that...
better?
Don,t know about you, Pharm, but...
it is going to take way more than one beer to wash that lost minute out of my mind!
Yeah...I know what you mean. Da Bares used to be one of my ‘secondary’ teams to root for in the NFL since I have a good buddy in Chi-town who is a season ticket holder; but since Obama is a bares fan, they’ve dropped off the list.
I like Russell Wilson!
Aye, Russell Wilson is a little undersized but he seems to be a cool QB.
