Interesting point. When I was working the polls for my state rep in 2008, there were Democrats there campaigning as well (paid!). One lady had been a Hillary delegate at the Dem convention that year, and she said the Zero supporters were nasty to everyone who wasn’t supporting him *and* black. I expect there could be some internal hostilities on display at the upcoming assembly ...

While the various fringe, radical, perverted, corrupt, racist groups have traditionally been part of the Dem party, everyone knew their seats and positions at the table. Obama has succeeded, however, in convincing even the marginal whackjob elements that *they* have the best seats and the head of the line privileges at the Dem goodie buffet.
