A week before his big speech at the Republican National Convention, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio made a dry run of sorts in an appearance Wednesday at Forum Club of the Palm Beaches luncheon.
And his request to keep the press from videotaping Wednesdays talk has one local newspaper accusing the senator of censorship. Its an allegation that political analyst Jack Furnari called hyperventilating.

I have personally seen Rubio speak on many occasions. He does not need to do dry runs, period. The likely truth is this was a private meeting and this idiot tried to horn his way in to get a scoop, assuming that every politician needs to do dry runs.
A speaker is never a censor.
Just tell him that he can videotape Rubio at a private function just as soon as the LA Times releases the video of Obama at the Khalidi dinner.
Maybe they were separated at birth. The heck with them all. We know where they stand on “non-partisan” press coverage and, at this point, so should any thinking, voting American.

Didn’t some Florida “journalist” allow himself to be locked in a closet during a Joe Biden fundraiser a couple of years ago?

Yes. Here in Orlando, the Sentinel reporter got locked in a closet while Biden entered, and no one retrieved him. He sat in there for a period of time.
They are all on the same team, so no harm, no foul from the press that time.
