Texas Judge Preparing For ‘Civil War’ If Obama Re-Elected
CBS DFW ^ | Aug 23 2012 | Unattributed

Posted on 08/23/2012 8:46:37 AM PDT by scottjewell

A Texas leader is warning of what he calls a ‘civil war’ and possible invasion of United Nations troops if President Barack Obama is re-elected.

Lubbock County Judge Tom Head is convinced that Mr. Obama winning a second term would lead to a revolt by the American people and he’s is pushing a tax increase for the district attorney’s office and the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office. He says the money is needed to “beef up” its resources in case President Obama wins the November election.

In the event of civil unrest Judge Head said he’s concerned the President would hand over sovereignty of the United States to the U.N. and that the American public would react violently.

“He’s going to try to hand over the sovereignty of the U.S. to the United Nations, what’s going to happen when that happens?” Judge Head told FOX 34 in Lubbock.

“I’m thinking worse case scenario,” Judge Head explained. “Civil unrest, civil disobedience, civil war maybe…we’re not just talking a few riots or demonstrations.”

The West Texas judge’s proposed tax increase is to help the sheriff’s office hire a law enforcement large enough to protect the county and to drive away the invaders.

Well, I do think he is over-stating the case just a tad. A civil war actually doesn’t sound bad, but I don’t think it’s in the offing.

1) A judge is a public employee, not a “leader”.

2) It’s “worst case scenario” not “worse”.

I don’t know where this guy has been hiding. Obama started the civil war about 3.5 years ago. It’s currently a cold war.. I hope we can win it before we have to take up arms.

Yes, that would be the more likely scenario, and event that is not too probable...

Way back in Nursing school, when we rotated through psychiatry, we were taught that none of us is black or white as far as psychiatry goes. We’re all just a different shade of gray.

I think this guy may be one of the more darker shades.........

A few of my not well said meanderings:

As the Roman Empire fell their money was devalued and in search of ever greater tax base everyone was granted citizenship in the empire thus negating any inherent value it had. People became more like chattel than free to be plundered and used in a system with little hope for opportunity and advancement in life.

Much as Orwell pointed out the system seeks to freeze history. No more mobility for a person to alter their condition or for cyclical movements in history to play out. With little or no means to fight back either.

The scenario I believe will be foisted on the US is something along these lines.

Some kind of a bomb or weapon will be used on a major US city. Maybe more than one. Then the federal authorities will command the populations of 10 major cities that are either targeted or already infected or at risk must be evacuated for a 100 square mile radius. All the preparations one makes aren’t gonna be of much use then when people will have to be filed through some system after being completely uprooted.

In conjunction with this foreign troops from anywhere in the world could be brought in through our southern flank.

Thoughts anyone

From the article:

Two Democrats in Lubbock aren’t laughing. “It’s ridiculous. It’s very embarrassing for us here in Lubbock,”Commissioner Gilbert Flores said frustrated. When asked if the Judge should resign over his comments Mr. Flores said, “I don’t know if it will do any good if he resigns or not. I will be very honest with you, this is West Texas, this is hard core anti-Obama/Tea Party.”

Yep, sounds like a lot of loons.../s

My stepdad became a Texas County Judge many years after he retired from the private sector, it seems funny that he could say something that would get so much national press.

The media must like this story.

Every one has a crazy aunt who lives in the attic.

It is good that here in Texas we have a big attic.

When I worked as a psychiatric nurse, I learned from my clinical manager that “with every delusion there is a grain of truth.” So what is the “grain of truth” here?
