NO WE CAN'T: The Delusions of Backing the Abortion Regime
Touchstone ^ | Sept./Oct. 2012 | James M. Kushiner

Chicago's Grant Park on November 4, 2009, was the site of a jubilant election-night rally and victory speech by Barack Obama. Toward the end of his speech, he said, "So tonight, let us ask ourselves—if our children should live to see the next century . . . what change will they see? What progress will we have made?"

Within sight of Grant Park, on July 20, 2012, Tonya Reaves, 24, entered a Planned Parenthood Clinic on Michigan Avenue. She underwent a "dilation and extraction" (D & E) abortion. Afterwards, she started bleeding. She bled at Planned Parenthood for five and half hours before an ambulance carried her to Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Reaves underwent another D & E procedure there after doctors discovered that Planned Parenthood had botched the abortion. She continued to bleed. She was taken for more surgery at 10:12 pm and pronounced dead at 11:20 pm.

Robert P. George wrote cogently in 2008 about "Obama's Abortion Extremism" As a legislator, Obama refused to support a ban on partial-birth abortion or legislation to grant medical care to infants who survive abortion attempts.

Everything Obama has done since becoming president confirms George's stark warning to Christians. Nothing Obama has done vindicates Christians who voted for him, who claimed that his policies in the long run would be more pro-life. George rightly called this sort of thinking "delusional." Continued Christian support is worse than delusional and certainly shameful.

Planned Parenthood has killed many people across from Grant Park, including Tonya Reaves and her baby. Well, abortion is a bloody business, death-works by design. Our nation is deep into it, and speeches about progress will not cover it up or remove the bloodstains.

I fear Amerika has sealed her fate by allowing this demon spwan Obama to rule over US of A. He is proud of his defense and promotion of the slaughtering of alive little ones in and out of the womb. We seem to be repeating the times of Mannassah ...

I have a problem with people who write things that contain a glaring error in the very first sentence.

Chicago's Grant Park on November 4, 2009, was the site of a jubilant election-night rally and victory speech by Barack Obama.

That would have been 2008, not 2009.

THe Huffington Post was gushing

Stanek: Barack Obama is “most pro-abortion president ever” (video)

DAYTON, OH - Illinois nurse Jill Stanek is on a ten-day tour with Susan B. Anthony List’s “Women Speak Out” bus tour, telling her story and experience with the “most pro-abortion president ever” in the White House. Ohio is a swing state, where the nation’s direction on honoring life could be determined November 6.

Attacking the Tabernacle

. . . Psalm 139, then, is picking up on a known thread of imagery when it compares the formation of an infant in the womb to his being “woven” like a tent curtain. In the womb, the Lord weaves the tent that the infant will “wear” until he puts it off at death. With its allusions to the roqem work of the tabernacle, the Psalm goes further, implying not only that God has made the infant in the womb, but also that the infant is being woven into a dwelling for God. Abortion attacks not only a creature of God but a house of God. The abortionist’s instruments pierce through the unfinished roqem curtains and tread on holy ground. We are talking here not only about slaughter of the innocent but about sacrilege, a direct attack on “space” claimed by God. That is the most serious offense possible. Paul’s warning hovers ominously over our nation: “If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him, for the temple of God is holy.”

When we have left in tatters the tents God wove for Himself, how shall He dwell among us?

I ask what’s in it for these DemonRATs to support abortion? Is it just the money from the abortion industry? Or, is it something darker? Is it a Communist strategy?

For most of them it’s about women and men alike avoiding the natural consequences of their reckless sexual behavior. Liberals love to be sexually promiscuous and hate the idea of personal responsibility.
