I was in an abusive marriage. I had just had my 5th spinal surgery and had 149 staples on my back and he hit me. He made the mistake of going after my son. I had a dinner plate on my lap, and when he got up to chase my son, I stood-up, threw the dinner plate that hit him in the forehead and cut more than half his forehead open. He fell on the floor with blood pouring from his head. He told me to take him to the hospital. I asked if he ever took me there after a beating. I told him to drive himself! Two days later he got served divorce papers.
I warned him before that if he ever touched my children I would kill him. This woman should have used a dinner plate on this scumbag coward!
Perhaps they should hit this creature with an iron rod everytime he receives his prison meals.
I’m afraid I would have used something smaller than a dinner plate, and is made of lead.
Women who stay around after the first attack always baffle me. I know it happens—it just doesn’t compute for me—I’d be out of there so fast.

He was a Vietnam vet and I made excuses for him. I was trapped due to illness at the time, but he went after my child and that was it.
I had a fear at that time of not being able to take care of my children. I knew a settlement from the car accident was soon to be settled so I was lucky to get out and be able to care for my children properly. Many woman aren’t that lucky.

I raised my three sons alone, and not a wife beater in the bunch. No arrests or drug involvement. They went to bible study and were honor students. Granted the good grades earned Jordans shoes but it was worth every penny. When you have the Lord, you have EVERYTHING.
This man is a coward who probably had a 14 yo mother who clubbed every night and had a daddy who was a woman beater. He’s a control freak who has no business mixing with polite society. He should have gotten more time because of his record. He’ll kill someone someday.
