But if you want to carry, this is a really nice, comfortable piece. A Smith and Wesson .38 Airweight.

I've handled it and it is a nice small weapon. It's hard to wear enough clothing to be able to conceal much on the Gulf Coast so i started with a Kahr P-380 as it would fit in my pocket. Alas - it has severe chambering issues and is back aat the company (after a local gunsmith checked it out) to see if they can give me something reliable. In the meantime, I find the Ruger LCP 380 to be suitable. Unlike the Kahr, which has a short, steep ramp to the chamber, the Ruger has a straight shot from the mag to the chamber - no severe gyrations to get the precious metals to the foundry....

Do you know about hers. My wifes carries her own CCW. Even having grown up around guns, she hasn't felt the need. Plus, working at a corporate daycare facility makes it logistically tough. At least she's protected while with me.

Check out the background in this pic, and you'll figure it out. [If you can't work out the word behind Jerry's head on the slide in the pic, it's *nuclear.*]

Why have planet snowball on the screen? Maybe he’s a true believer who wants a nuclear war to plunge Earth into a nuclear winter that scrubs Gaia of the human infestation and cleanses her for a new birth, several billion years down the road.
