Intelligence sources in Cairo told Egyptian media that an Israeli unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) fired at a terrorist in Sinai Sunday and killed him.
According to the reports, the terrorist was hit by a missile that was fired at him as he rode a motorcycle in the Bedouin area south of the village of Al-Kasia, about 15 kilometers from the Israeli-Egyptian border.
Witnesses said the explosion left a crater two meters wide and 50 centimeters deep.

Jihadi go boom
OK, let's go with that, then.
It's amazing what can be accomplished when you don't care who gets the credit.
LOL. Here we have a prime example of why these he-goats are so out of touch with reality: They take their own BS way too seriously.
Oh well, poof happens!
We need to know how far he flew (flying jihadi report)
BTTT
What a terrible waste. Of a motorcycle.
Them motorcycles’ll kill ya.
I got a feelin’ that jihadis aint going to be traveling around in the Sinai unless it’s in an SUV with at least three women and seven children from now on. An SUV offers much better passenger protection than a lone jihadi on a motorcycle. I’m surprised they caught one of these guys not cringing behind women and children.
Look on the bright side: I hope he had his organ donor card filled out.
I agree, especially given the express delivery.
You are absodadgumlutely right! We should take a cue from the Israelis and our own retired black ops warriors who knew how to keep their mouths shut. The showboats in the current administration - from Barack Obama all the way down to Admiral William McRaven - are publicity-hungry showboats who value political advantage and personal fame over the lives that have been entrusted to them. I expect such traitorous behavior from the political slime in the White House, but not from the "Celebrity Seal" now in charge of the U.S. Special Operations Command.
At a Q&A forum earlier this year before the National Defense Industrial Association, Admiral McRaven was openly confronted by the former Delta Force commander, retired Army Lt. Gen. James Vaught. Seething with anger, Gen. Vaught told McRaven:
"Since the time when your wonderful team went and drug bin Laden out and got rid of him, and more recently when you went down and rescued the group in Somalia, or wherever the hell they were, theyve been splashing all of this all over the media. I flat dont understand that. Back when my special operators extracted Saddam [Hussein] from the hole, we didnt say one damn word about it. We turned him over to the local commander and told him to claim that his forces dug him out of the hole, and he did so. And we just faded away and kept our mouth shut. Now Im going to tell you: one of these days, if you keep publishing how you do this, the other guys going to be there ready for you, and youre going to fly in and hes going to shoot down every damn helicopter and kill every one of your SEALs. Now, watch it happen. Mark my words. Get the hell out of the media."
Diarrhea of the mouth is not only going to get a lot of our people killed, it is going to destroy our allies' faith in us and any willingness of future covert sources to trust in our ability to keep secrets. As evidenced by current leadership, our military culture is being overwhelmed and dismantled by popular culture and hostile political leadership. New and responsible leadership - both in suits and in uniform - is desperately needed to avert unspeakable disaster.
Semper Fidelis...
A good reminder that all Generals and Admirals are political appointees.
All 3 and 4-star ranks are appointed from permanent, board-selected 2-star ranks. The choices are both good and bad, depending upon the politician making the selection and the nominating advice he is given. General Vaught was obviously a good choice; Admiral McRaven was a bad one...
Unfortunately his heart, liver, cornea, kidneys and just about anything else reusable is probably perforated with bits of steel. Too bad that they couldn’t have taken him out cleanly with a head shot and salvaged him for spare parts. For the Palestinians, let me be clear.
*shrug* Nobody’s perfect.
And two hectares of well-distributed jihadi... '-)
