First, Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy last month endorsed a biblical definition of marriage, thrusting the chain in the middle of the debate on gay marriage. Supporters came out in droves to its stores on Aug. 1, driving records sales, according to Chick-fil-A. Now, San Antonios Whataburger Restaurants LLC is taking a stand of a different note by suing one of the countrys largest debt collections agencies.

Yeah, the Left sure gets quiet when put in its place
CFA won that one, BIG time.
This Whataburger stunt is a PR stunt and will backfire. They carefully chose a topic that is painless to get behind and are basically saying that their customers all hate bill collectors because they are a bunch of dead beats.
I think this stunt will backfire on Whataburger. I guess they think their customers are stupid deadbeats who will cheer them for suing a debt collector?
What an odd thing to say.
WB has already quietly filed cease and desist demand letters, and the collection agency is in clear violation of the law.
The collection agency is hampering the business from their ability to run their business.
I hope WB crushes them.
Why would the company be responsible for the personal debt of its employee? And aren’t there ways to block annoying or harrassing phone calls?
I read the whole story and I don’t see what in the world this has to do with Chick Fil A.
I read the underlying article and it looks like Whataburger really is out some $$ as a result of the collection agency’s activities (repeatedly calling Whataburger’s toll free number and thereby incurring charges after being requested to cease and desist). It therefore doesn’t appear to be a publicity stunt, and I hope Whataburger wins this suit, big time.
The left is obviously completely unhinged that the out of control behavior exhibited by their ruthless infliction of their perversions on innocents has been disrupted by a statement of common sense.
It was not his comment that 'thrust' the chain anywhere. It was the liberal left that thrust Chic-fil-A into the middle of a media frenzy.
Interesting how they always blame the victim.
Another gang of slugs were deliberately targeting families of deployed soldiers. Think wife, home alone, child maybe, and some worm calls her demanding $.
Russian mob influence is also a problem in the NW. Seattle area. Shut 'em down I say!
