This is a real howler coming from a woman replaced by a Republican after her failed policies rained as much misery on the State of Michigan as any hurricane.
But let's talk about the real issues, and that's the media.
If some obscure, no-name Republican City Councilman in some unincorporated small Southern town tweeted these exact words out after President Obama's convention was delayed by a hurricane, right now it would be the lead on Politico, Andrea Mitchell's wig hair would be on fire, Michael Steele and Joe Scarborough would've called a joint press

The most shocking thing is the implication that Granholm actually believes in God.

So if it misses and hits New Orleans like the track now shows, will they say God has bad aim?

Actually, the NHC did that by witholding the information that most of the tracks turned west long before. They waited to start adjusting the forecast from the models until they got at least part of what they want. They could be facing their own decision next week, whether to have convention while a major US city is in catastrophe mode.

LOL! The way I see, God “delayed” the convention and showed his wrath to deter pesky protesters who’d otherwise be standing out in the storm... But that’s just me. XD

The latest information from the National Hurricane Center web site shows Isaac to be far, far west of the Tampa area--there may be high surf threats, but no tropical storm or hurricane threat. But from east of New Orleans to west of Pensacola, the hurricane threat is quite real.

And the tracks keep moving more and more west every few hours so I bet it by early next week they will have it between Baton Rouge and New Orleans.

Now all the mayhem can happen at the DNC convention...like always.

The most shocking thing is the implication that Granholm actually believes in God. This shows the level of desperation that this marxist would call on the deity of their mortal enemy rather than their god, the government.

I wish one of our namby-pamby Republicans would make a list of all these kinds of things that the ‘rats have been saying about this hurricane and throw it in their faces hard when it hits some community west of Tampa.

"...that prolly doesn't even believe in God..." The misperception (especially as promoted by atheists) is that atheists don't believe in God.
They do. At best they simply make a conscius choice to turn their backs to Him. At worst they openly hate Him and those who accept Him.

No. The “other guy” has been given dominion over the earth and weather. If anything ole Scratch is ticked because the GOP has a chance of winning and foiling his plans to destroy the last place that grants true religious freedom.
To: OpusatFR
The hurrican is heading towards New Orleans. Now Katrina was supposed to have been steered right toward New Orleans by none other than George W. Bush cuz he hates black people. Well, that’s the story according to RFK Jr. So Carl Rove still has the weather machine?

The tracks I saw at mid-morning showed it missing Tampa and heading smack toward New Orleans. I couldn’t understand why all the talking heads were still going on and on and on about what it was doing to the Republican convention.
To: Roses0508
Now the track they are using points to New Orleans and many of the models seem to be turning toward Texas. It is just heading into a place where it might get strong enough for the models to figure it out.
