Huge 7.4 massive damage reported....
Brawley CA (southeast CA) has been having swarms the last day or two. The last one was about an hour ago at 4.9. Brawley has had earthquakes in the past that have been sizeable and done major damage. I live about 100 from there. I know there is no such thing as earthquake season...but still...
The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting that a strong magnitude-7.4 earthquake has struck off the coast of El Salvador and a tsunami warning has been issued.
The earthquake was located 86 miles (138 kilometers) south-southwest of San Miguel, the USGS reported on its web site.
The temblor took place at a depth of 32.9 miles (53 kilometers).
A tsunami warning is in effect for Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Panama and Mexico.
I bet all of the HAARP theorists will be coming out of the woodwork now with a shifting storm right into NOLA, massive earthquake, possible tsunami, earthquake swarms in So.Cal, all taking place the week of the RNC.

Regarding the current unusual California earthquake swarm :
Dr. Lucy Jones, USGS Seismologist said that there had not been a swarm like this since the 70s and before that the 30s. It will take them a day or two to get a better read on this unusual swarm because the earth is a different soil, different mix which makes it difficult to get an accurate reading.

(CBS News) A 7.4 magnitude earthquake hit 78 miles off the coast of El Salvador early Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey says.
No tsunami warnings were issued, and the temblor's epicenter was deep beneath the ocean's surface, the USGS says.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injurires.
There was a report of someone feeling the quake in San Salvador, the USGS adds.

A 5.4 in the Gulf off Rocky Point... that’s getting a little too close to home! Gonna take some valuables off the shelves before I go to bed, because we shook during the 7.2 in Mexicali a couple years back.
I am in Texas but just interested in earthquakes and hurricanes. Will be praying for you guys out that way. I have had this ap for about 5 months and have never had it go off this much!

With hurricanes I've actually had lots of experience. :) Earthquakes, not so much unless you count a 7.9 earthquake in AK, years back.
I know from my own investigation that the earth is experiencing a recent increase in both large earthquakes (M5+) and volcanic activity.

A very popular Christian candidate, who is an intense pro-life politician, was passed over (because of Romney's $$$ and Gingrich's refusal to back out). Not good. And now folks are skewering Akin, who ALSO came out with an intense pro-life message (no one listens to what he said in its entirety; just his gaffe)... Christ will not be mocked.. IMO He's tired of all the killing and the passive nature by which Americans allow it concerning themselves only with the economy, etc. He's sent us help and we laugh. Which by the way, the meaning of the name Isaac (the current storm/hurricane) is "He will laugh."

What earthquake thing do you have?
I just have one ap called Iearthquakes and another called earthquake alerts(?). It is just an ap for my iPad that sends push notifications on earthquakes and gives you the location on a map and info on time, strength etc.
The is an ap for everything now....lol.
I bet there have been over a hundred at this point since yesterday morning. Very unusual for sure.
