It will still be Bush's fault.

Are the republicans still thinking about calling off the Convention on tuesday out of fear of appearing insensitive to those in the hurricane’s path?
Perhaps the dems will share half of their convention time with the GOP

Shep will certainly get some traction from this as he is again down in New Orlean’s and is trying out his Southern drawl when saying New Orlean’s. I really wish they would get rid of this idiot.

Are the dumb masses going to move this time when they’re told 3 days ahead of time to evacuate. Leave your damn flat screen tv’s behind this time.

Isaac poised for Gulf landfall on Katrina anniversary Oh, no! "School Bus" Nagin and the Chocolate City will be hardest-hit!
The state-run media are trying to play to Obama's base here. Nothing more.

NEED TO KNOW
- Isaac could make landfall on 7th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina hitting the same coast
- HLN meteorologist Bob Van Dillen compares the two systems
Isaac and Katrina are two different storms, but they share some unsettling similarities:
- The path of Isaac just came away from the western Florida coastline Monday morning and is churning up the Gulf of Mexico. Katrina did the same thing.
- Isaac is moving to the west-northwest and should eventually steer to the northwest and head for the Louisiana/Mississippi coastline Tuesday night. Look at Katrinas ultimate path: it did the same thing.
- It appears that Isaac will make landfall late Tuesday night or early Wednesday, August 29. Katrina made landfall near Buras, Louisiana on
August 29, seven years ago.
READ MORE: Isaac makes way toward Gulf Coast
This is where the comparison ends though. At one point, Katrina was a monster Cat. 5 hurricane with winds well over 155 mph. It finally came ashore with winds around 115 mph making it a Cat. 3 storm, a major hurricane.
Isaac struggled to gain strength Monday morning, but could eventually become a hurricane later in the day. In fact, the National Hurricane Center maxes Isaac out at around 90 mph winds just before landfall. So this storm is well under the strength of Katrina, which is great news.
We still have about 36 to 48 hours to watch, but hopefully Isaac wont bomb out into a Katrina monster.

Some people have been saying that Isaac will give Bambi a chance to acted presidential and “save the day”.
I’m not worried about that. I’m worried about the actual damage the storm does. Whatever Obama does will be the worst thing he could possibly due. He has that gift.
He could screw up his own wet dream.

According to Algore and the lamestream media, Katrina was caused by Global Warming (now called Global Climate Change) and because of Global Climate Change hurricanes were only going to get worse every year.
Instead, we have not had a hurricane that is Category 3 or above hit the U.S. coast for almost seven years, the longest period the U.S. has gone without a hit from a major hurricane since the government began keeping records in 1851.
If Issac turns out to be Category 3 or above, I predict multiple lamestream media reports about how Isaac was caused by Global Climate Change and because of Global Climate Change hurricanes are only going to get worse every year.

Democrats are much better at picking venues for their convention. Republicans....goodness why Florida? Ohio is needed for a must win....no Republican has ever won the election without Ohio.

LA has something going for it this time... and that is a GREAT Governor in Jindall. Even if Gov Jindall has to deal the Convention to deal with it, this should be a better test of him than any convention speech ever.
