Tampa and the Republican convention seem to have dodged the initial impact of Tropical Storm Isaac. But the full impact of its political spin has yet to be felt.
Issac is building power over the Gulf of Mexico as I write this, and the power of the political spin builds as the storm approaches the landfall areas of Hurricane Katrina. While no one wishes for Isaac to follow the map track of Katrina, those living in its path need to prepare for the wind, rain and storm surges. Those following its political track need to brace for the impact of the political spin to follow the storm. Never a group to let a disaster go to waste, the Obama campaign is waiting to unleash the fury of its spin on the storm with a maximum of political effects.

“Well, youve been talking about health services while we have been talking about weather services. If you dont know what NHC stands for perhaps you shouldnt be on a hurricane thread.”
“You calling me a leftist?”
You’ve posted a lie, suggested I should leave the thread, and now you’re trying to provoke me.
Because my opinion differs from yours, and I, like others here, are saying that weather reporting has been politicized by the left to hurt Republicans?
If you’re not a leftist, then perhaps you’re just an ultra right-winger who gives conservatives a bad name.
But as I said earlier, we need all types to defeat Hussein, even those who like to call themselves independent and bash posters here while alleging to talk down to “both sides”.
The left-wing Katrina story is one of the lefts modern day myths. Katrina was, in fact, while not perfect, the greatest and most successful rescue mission on American soil. That’s the real story.
It was. Sister states’ pilots flew in from all over, bringing supplies and people to help. Folks from all over the nation came in to help with displaced pets. Huge relief centers were set up and staffed and supplied by locals. Merchants donated everything needed by the dislocated.
Those leftist slaves that blame Bush have their place in Hell carved out.
So, if the shoe fits, wear it.! We weren't talking about voting!
So it’s ok to tell people to shut up here as long as it isn’t about voting. Got it.
As far as the shoe fitting, I’ve personally experienced a couple of hurricane, AND I’ve voted, so I guess I can keep posting.
You’re welcome. Just mind your P’s and Q’s.
