At least the propaganda in this movie won't hit until after the election. The rats must be pissed about that.
The left was so adamant that 9/11 not be referred to in any way that could benefit Bush, and none of what was being contested involved any kind of security breach. This is disgusting.
Hollywood is a ready-made propaganda machine, and in that context any involvement of Hollywood in movie-making with a political tilt should be labeled as such. I would very much favor a law requiring that the political affiliation, donations, and fraternization of the makers of such films be disclosed on screen (e.g. ‘Kathryn Bigelow is a registered democrat who has contributed to the DNC and to democrat candidates for the presidency and other offices. She has visited the White House x number of times, and has been in contact with members of the Obama administration during the making of this film’). For the record, she did donate to the DNC, John Kerry, and others. How would the left respond if Newt Gingrich was directing high-budget films featuring politically-charged themes?
If there was an opposition party in Washington impeachment proceedings would have started a long time ago. But republicans will only do what’s right when it’s one of their own.
