President Ronald Reagan kicks off his presidential campaign with a Labor Day speech at Liberty State Park, Jersey City, New Jersey. Delivered 1 September 1980. Complete transcript and audio mp3 at: http://www.americanrhetoric.com/speeches/ronaldreaganlibertypark.htm
Yes, I was at the park in the audience. God Bless America!
Keeping that back hand strong President Reagan.
No wonder why he won, he was an honest to G-d Conservative!
Wish we had one of those running against Ubama.
S/He would beat him within an inch of his life
But no...we have Gerald Ford-Romney, Obama is a nice guy, just doesn't know what he is doing...I can do Government Hellcare better than he can. Go away Conservatives, I don't want your support....
Sigh
I am still reluctant to contribute to the Romney campaign simply because I am not fully convinced that he or the PUBs put in enough effort to occupy the WH.
Romney reminds me too much of “holding-hands-across-the-aisle” McCain.
Unless Romney assumes a Reagan-like attitude toward his opponent he will not get the support that he needs.
Does he really want to become POTUS? Go ahead, convince me and call a spade a spade. We have had, by far, the worst president in the history of this nation — don’t call him a nice guy, because if he is, I see no reason to vote for Romney.
