I hope there’s an audience left for her after the dynamic John Boehner finishes with em.

Speaker John Boehner

Must be a graduate of the Jimmy Carter School of Public Speaking.

If my life depended on it, I couldn’t stay awake for more than ten minutes of this guy.

I swear I could hear the collective clicks of remotes in my area after thirty seconds...

I’m disgusted with the coverage. Even Fox is cutting in for reports about nothing from the approaching hurricane.

I’m watching the convention on C-SPAN.

Yeah, but you’re going to have to somehow make it through Crying John’s droning voice. Let’s see if he’ll cry again. Preibus is OK. He’s a pretty good speaker.

PBS and CSpan are covering, without the commentary and commercial breaks.

This convention is a joke. Not a Conservative in sight. It should be called the Democrat-Light National Convention. Republicans are to Democrats what Squire’s are to Fender’s

Preview of Boehner’s speech in it’s entirety:

We passed the highway bill. Without Obama we can pass more highway bills.

"Not a Conservative in sight."

You must be watching a different convention. Mia Love was great and I've met Kathy McMorris Rogers who is as solid a conservative as anyone you will find. There is plenty of time for grousing and whining, but it's not now. Now is the time to defeat Barack Obama and give America a chance to dream again.

“Now is the time to defeat Barack Obama and give America a chance to dream again.”

Defeat 0bama and put the Republicans version of a power grabbing thug just like 0bama? Count me out. I was willing to hold my nose and vote for Romney, but not anymore! He’s just as low and crooked as 0bama. He lost my vote today.

There is no hope for this country. America is dying and this election will be the final death nail no matter the outcome.

“That’s an interesting strategy for restoring our foothold on the future.”

There is no strategy for restoring our foothold on the future. Romney and his RNC established who was in charge today. The election is between two liberty hating, power hungry thugs. I can not vote for either one of these rotten people. The country is damned anyway. It’s over.

Federal Deficit 2006 $160 BILLION. (Last GOP controlled Congress and White House)

Federal Deficit 2010 $1.6 TRILLION (Last Democrat controlled Congress and White House)

Even YOU should be able to figure out the math. If you cannot, then stay home, you are too politically ignorant to be voting.

Reagan has some words for your sort of political purist

By Ronald Reagan in his autobiography An American Life

“When I began entering into the give and take of legislative bargaining in Sacramento, a lot of the most radical conservatives who had supported me during the election didn’t like it. “Compromise” was a dirty word to them and they wouldn’t face the fact that we couldn’t get all of what we wanted today. They wanted all or nothing and they wanted it all at once. If you don’t get it all, some said, don’t take anything. I’d learned while negotiating union contracts that you seldom got everything you asked for. And I agreed with FDR, who said in 1933: ‘I have no expectations of making a hit every time I come to bat. What I seek is the highest possible batting average.’ If you got seventy-five or eighty percent of what you were asking for, I say, you take it and fight for the rest later, and that’s what I told these radical conservatives who never got used to it.”

You really believe the Republicans are going to reduce the deficit??? The Republicans will only slow the train down, but the destination is the same.....right over the cliff.

It’s too late. We are in the worse shape this country has every been in and are damaged beyond repair. The Democrats are mainly to blame, the Republicans have played a big part too. RINO’s like the Bushes, McCains and Romneys offer nothing but slightly less liberal fiscal policies.

BTW: If Romney is elected, he will NOT repeal 0bamaCare. He will enhance it to his own liking.

PBS /KERA has it on antennae tv.
That stupid heifer Gwen awful and the other democRAT apologists are explaining away every comment the republican interviewees are making.
It is so annoying I had to turn off the volume. The convention is going on in the background, but you’d never know it. Just the democRATS making excuses for every point made by their guests.
The puerto Rico governor was good with his explanation of lower taxes=more revenue.

Suicide is the only way out!!!

Reminders:

-Leave a suicide note, this will help the cops, and allow them to go back to coffee much sooner, where they will laugh about how stupid you were and how funny you looked.

-Place your ID next to your body. Depending on how long you have been putrefying, it can be tough to figure out who you are... I mean “were”. It’s also a good idea to leave a list of your doctors and note of where your dental records might be found.

If you need more tip, just let me know.

Anyway, thank you for flying with Hale–Bopp.

I liked the Puerto Rico governor’s wife, the one introduce Ann Romney. (But I had to giggle when she mentioned “Meat” Romney :)

There is only one path to even give our country a chance at this point and that is an economic recovery. While I liked Gingrich for his candor and Santorum for his morality, I am [now] putting my trust in Romney to put his business sense to work and help get government out of the way.

All of the speeches tonight had that ideal as a central theme. I have to believe that he is not going to chart a different course than what they are laying out.
