Marines, civilian police officers conduct urban training exercise(What Posse Comitatus?)
WNCT Channel 9, North Carolina ^ | August 23, 2012 | Tony Rawlings

CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. - Training at Camp Lejeune Thursday looked and felt real -- and that was the point. Law officers and marines from across the country ended their training with a bang.

Thursday was the final day of exercises for law enforcement and marines who have gone through special reaction team training at Camp Lejeune for the past three weeks. In the final exercise, teams were presented with a series of real life scenarios as well as hands on instruction to handle them correctly.

Brian Dye, Operations Chief of I&I in Lexington, Kentucky says training civilians as a blended force with Marine Corps personnel eases the transition into a real world scenario.

"I think it's always good when you get an opportunity to work on some similar tactics and procedures so that everybody's kind of operating on the same page. That way when you bring teams together from active duty and the civilian side, it makes the integration a whole lot smoother."

The tactics trainees take away from this course just may help save lives. This three week SRT training course is phase one for law enforcement and Marine Corps personnel. Phase two will focus on sniper and designated marksmanship training.

These guys aren't getting ready for Afghanistan.

I'm guessing you've been to Afghanistan as an MP and know their work-ups?

Or, I;m guess you are absolutely 100% positive that they don't work with C-I-V-I-L-I-A-N law enforcement in Afghanistan?

And of course, there aren't any civilian military police either? (yes actually, there are)

1861.

The US troops killed MD residents who were US citizens as MD had not seceded.

Kinda like Kent State, on steroids.

History tends to repeat itself.

CW2 is probably inevitable...and predictable.

“The rebel traitors” will be out-manned, outgunned and underfunded and it won’t drag on for four years.

It’ll be over pretty quick.

They’re already making sure of that.

If we were expecting a military invasion, I think we could see some need for this. If we’re not, I see no reason for it whatsoever.

There’s a move in this nation to transition the police and federal law enforcement into some sort of full blown military service.

The obvious lessons from the past are completely lost on these bastards.

Shades of Crystal Nacht are entirely possible in the place we’re headed. All some group, any group has to do, is be labeled as terrorist [ tea party members for example ], and a nation wide effort for internal security forces to round them up could easily go forth.

This from a group that couldn’t lift one finger to stop our nation from being occupied by tens of millions of foreign nationals.

There’s a new show on NBC that has slipped in a few swat and other police officers into a group of ex-military, in order to earn donations for veteran type support operations. The officers may be obtaining donations for police type support groups.

The point is, I don’t want the police being seen in the same light as our troops who fight on foreign soil.

We are the targets of the police. The Taliban are the targets of our troops on foreign soil. Is there a difference? I should certainly hope so.

The blurring of these lines is VERY problematic IMO.

If folks would like to learn more about the NBC show, here is a link. The fact that Westly Clark is the ex military person co-hosting the show, should make some folks blood boil.

Unless I’m mistaken, the Posse Comitatus act was allowed to expire. I think during Bush’s presidency.

Pls excuse the back to back posts, but here’s what Wikipedia had to say about it:

“In 2006, the Congress modified the Insurrection Act as part of the 2007 Defense Authorization Bill (repealed as of 2008).
On September 26, 2006, President Bush urged Congress to consider revising federal laws so that U.S. armed forces could restore public order and enforce laws in the aftermath of a natural disaster, terrorist attack or incident, or other condition.
These changes were included in the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007 (H.R. 5122), which was signed into law on October 17, 2006.[8]
Section 1076 is titled “Use of the Armed Forces in major public emergencies.” It provided that:
The President may employ the armed forces... to... restore public order and enforce the laws of the United States when, as a result of a natural disaster, epidemic, or other serious public health emergency, terrorist attack or incident, or other condition... the President determines that... domestic violence has occurred to such an extent that the constituted authorities of the State or possession are incapable of maintaining public order... or [to] suppress, in a State, any insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination, or conspiracy if such... a condition... so hinders the execution of the laws... that any part or class of its people is deprived of a right, privilege, immunity, or protection named in the Constitution and secured by law... or opposes or obstructs the execution of the laws of the United States or impedes the course of justice under those laws.[9]
In 2008, these changes in the Insurrection Act of 1807 were repealed in their entirety, reverting to the previous wording of the Insurrection Act[10] that in its original form was written to limit Presidential power as much as possible in the event of insurrection, rebellion, or lawlessness.”

There are none so blind as those who will not see.

Then you should change your screen name to Helen Keller and stay mute instead of bashing men better than yourself that voluntarily put themselves in harm's way on your behalf.

Or you could sack up and strap on a rifle and sign up yourself.

Or, if that's too scary print my posts out in Braille and re-read them. Pay particular attention to the point where I say I drive on Camp Lejeune every day and then draw your own conclusions......or maybe, I'm just trying to mislead you because I'm part of the conspiracy too................

CW2 is probably inevitable...and IS predictable.

That is 100% correct.

History repeats itself because people forget it's lesson.

“The rebel traitors” will be out-manned, outgunned and underfunded and it won’t drag on for four years.

It’ll be over pretty quick.

They’re already making sure of that.

I disagree, I suspect it will be more like Yugoslavia, a drawn-out ethnic conflict.

America is unique in a number of ways.

The First Civil War ended not it a change of Government, or capture of the capital, it ended in attrtion. Unlike most Civil Wars.

In contrast however, The Breakup of the Soviet Union was Relatively peaceful. While the Break of the U.S.A. will not be.

Again History is like Music, beats and counter beats.

“No, these are intentional “public reaction probes.” The release of the info on the billion bullets, all of it.
It’s designed to test when folks will say, ENOUGH.”

You are absolutely correct. I watch the reactions on different blogs every day and I see people being lead by the nose, especially in the political arena.

The actors that are orchestrating this puppet show believe people are stupid and they’re right.

Good Lord......everything is not some conspiracy to kill the civilian populace.

The better question is, are ANY of them?

Do you know who you replied to?
