CNN's John Berman, reporting live from the floor of the GOP convention, asked a Louisiana delegate if it wasn't "inappropriate" for the Republican Party to continue the convention on Tuesday night with Hurricane Isaac set to make landfall in Louisiana.

"There's been a lot of talk about whether it's appropriate at all for Republicans to be having this convention tonight, these festivities. Do you feel like there's any issue there?" he asked.

CNN Asks If GOP Holding Convention Tuesday Is 'Appropriate'

John Berman asked a Louisiana delegate if it wasn't "inappropriate" for the Republican Party to continue the convention on Tuesday night with Hurricane Isaac set to make landfall in Louisiana.

Hey Dirtbag!

Do you think it's appropriate for you RATagandists to be asking this question?

The America of yore is capable of doing way more than two things at once.

“CNN should be embarrassed to ask such a stupid question.”

Haha. CNN embarrassed? Nothing embarrasses those loons. They’re too ignorant to be embarrassed about anything they do.

Best answer: Sure it is. Obama is in charge of everything. Do you have no confidence in your messiah?

I don’t believe it is appropriate for CNN to be making money by voyeuristically exploiting the troubles of the people being hit by the hurricane.

CNN should respect these people and go off the air until the storm is over.

The Republicans, however, are doing a public service and should carry on their quest to unseat obama.

“Why in the world would the Republicans allow CNN, MSNBC, the NYT, WaPo and the alphabet idiots into their convention?”

Good question. All they do is trash-talk the GOP, why have them at the party? I’d rather their readers/viewers (both of them) have no news rather than lies.

Whenever anyone, anyone brings this up point out three simple, irrefutable facts to them.

First, the RNC is a political convention. There are politicians and delegates there. It is a fair bet that none of them are trained first responders or relief workers. So having them shut down and rush to the aide of the gulf coast would be counter productive.

Second, shutting down the RNC would simply put an additional economic hardship on Tampa, along with the economic hardship that Isaac is imposing on other parts of the gulf coast. Why would you want to further punish the gulf coast?

Third, today, tomorrow, even the rest of the week tens of millions of Americans - including the people criticizing the RNC - will get up and go to work as usual. While what is happening to the gulf coast is terrible and regrettable, the business of America must go on. So unless they intend to criticize everyone, including themselves, they should STFU.

So say a prayer, send a donation to a charity, and move on.

PS - I've already told two people exactly these three points today alone.

“There’s been a lot of talk about....”
Yeah, that’s a great way to start an interview. What a bunch of dirtbags those people can be.
First response should have been “And just who are these people doing this talking?”

My guess is that it probably was CNN's staff and executives.

They had to drag Hussein off the links for the photo op for OBL’s demise. Will he be back on the links or shooting hoops on Tuesday and Wednesday?

“CNN should be embarrassed to ask such a stupid question.”

They aren’t; they and the rest of Obama’s media lackeys will be asking questions like this right up until the election, hoping to attract a voter here and a voter there to put him over the top.

John Sununu’s exchange with Andrea Mitchell has shown the lengths to which they will go; Soledad’s “Talking Points” episode was the icing on the cake.

CNN better watch out.
They will loose their viewers.

It completely blows so much cool technology is at the control of Leftist scumbags.

Broadcast news desperately needs new, independent talent.

“Will he be back on the links or shooting hoops on Tuesday and Wednesday?”

I doubt you’ll see Obama with a basketball until after the election; in fact, displaying any (real) footage of him playing will be attacked by his media as “racist”. They’ll be playing up his “whiteness” now that they need those white fools from 2008 to vote for him again...

What's the matter? Are you worried that Obama won't be able to handle that little hurricane all by himself?

Oddly enough, not one mention of the words “vacation” or “Martha’s Vineyard” all summer long.
