Up late watching the Republican National Convention.
Me, too. Listening to the replay of Christie since THIS STOOPID OLD COMPUTER FROZE UP TOWARDS THE END LAST TIME!!!
Better not again or I’m going to pitch this thing right out the window...
Wish all due respect Quinn, can I stop to take a shower? lol!
Uh, the above is a response to Quinn’s opening comments!
LOL, I missed it, what was he saying to keep you from going in?
Lol...he was funny (I guess he gets extra grumpy when he gets up so early!)
I m ashamed to admit we watched Pirate game & son came from HS soccer bus & had homework—so i have only caught YouTube it’s & peices.
Mrs. Romney is so well spoken and so First Ladylike. She has waaaay more “connection” I think w/crowds than Mittt (who can’t help it—he isn’t relaxed—just his way—like being a good business leader—just who he is).
The one that impressed me is the young woman mayor from Utah, Mia Love. She IS natural and articulate infront of the large crowd and she “connected” (and I bet the LSMedia is scared to death of her—a young conservative, immigrant Black woman). Chrissy Matthews is searching for “dog whistles” words to call her raaaaacist!
He said he was up until 1:00 am editing sound bytes so “you’d all better be listening because I’ll know where you live!”
I loved Ann Rommey’s speech too! She is the consummate wife and mom. Yeah, Mitt is more quiet, but as long as he gets the job done, personality doesn’t matter to me.
I guess appearances don’t matter much to me, as unrealistic as that probably is, given the media. I’m not so sure I want Chris Christie as a president some day, my objections have nothing to do with his weight. I could care less about that. Churchill (NOT comparing Christie to Churchill except appearance) was huge, but he was a great leader.
I just found out I missed Janine Turner speak. It would have been nice to see/hear her.
Yunz all probably have heard a levee has been breached and some parts of southern LA are under 12 ft of water. It’s free big screen tv, Nikes and beer time.
Oh I shouldn’t have said that!
That was fantastic how Dennis Miller shut Jay Leno up!
Janine Turner... If she’s the one who followed Mia, ugh, she drove me nuts. Kept calling out various states for minutes trying to get delegates to react, I finally walked away from the tv.
That’s awful on the levee failure! Let ME be the first...”its Obama’s fault!” the “split screen” byte that Quinn did—how about the split screen of Barry doing what he does every day?? A combo of golf, fundraising and “nothing.”. Heading over to WHDossier to see what Dear Leader’s plans for TODAY.
LOL, geez, to each their own, buddy... ;o)
I more than likely missed whatever “good” she had to say. Spending minutes shouting out states for reactions just got under my skins. She sounded like a dope after Mia Love’s great presentation. I had no patience for it last night.
