Skip to comments.Juan Williams: Ann Romney Looks "Like A Corporate Wife" Hard For Me To Believe She Struggled
Posted on 08/29/2012 7:03:09 AM PDT by SeekAndFind
The Fox commentator said tonight in remarks that are sure to draw comparisons from conservatives to Hilary Rosen's snipe that Ann Romney didn't work a day in her life that Ann Romney looks to me like a corporate wife. The stories she told about struggles are hard for me to believe. I mean, she's a very rich women.

Sounds racist. Seriously.
Boy, Juan wasted nary a second parroting back the DNC talking points. Must be trying to get his old job at NPR back.
My sister is very rich (Possibly richer than Romney), it’s amazing the crap she has to put up with. And she raises her own chickens for eggs.
The guy is an advocate of class envy.
Wan Williams is an Obamanite. He has nothing good to say about Republicans, particularly Republicans who run against Obama.
Ann Romney is a classy, decent lady who has faced MS and breast cancer. But Wan Williams can’t seem to get it. The biggest crisis in his life, apaprently, was getting kicked off a Liberal News Station when he stepped out of line once.
That black racist might as well have said, “looks like a rich, white, woman.”
I guess that Juan is right, our future first lady doesn’t look like a hag like all of the democrat first ladies, he has a point there.
His ideal I guess, is that slope-jawed, beetle-browed, bug-eyed, vicious anti-American radical Obama is wedded to. Guess he has no problem with her racist minister and racist church.
How do you know Mrs. Romney is a decent classy lady?
Just because someone has had health issues doesn’t mean they are special, it just means they had health issue.
Juan is simply telling us how superficial his percetion is, and how limited his imagination is.
“She’s white, she’s had everything handed to her.”
When, in truth, it’s people like 0bama that indeed have had everything handed to him.
Hit the road Juan!
Doesn't Fox realize how many viewers JW costs them? Sure he's so idiotic that he's entertaining for a couple of viewings. But the idiocy and vitriol soon overwhelm the amusement.
No doubt Juan would have liked her better if she’d dressed up as a vagina and paraded around for the cameras while shouting vile accusations.
I think Juan Wiliams has hurt himself and his career very badly with his remarks relative Ann Romney. He ought to try raising five boys, coping with MS and breast cancer. The Romneys, by the way have no hired help in their home. There is no doubt in my mind that Mr. Williams is a Black racist in his heart and soul.
I feel sorry for Mr. Williams and millions of Black Americans like him. The poor, Obama chained, plantation, souls are headed for an open, no hope, abyss, adrift at sea, in Obama economic slavery for the next fifty years, if not more!!! Sad!!! Sad for them, and.....more importantly sad for America. Hope is yet alive, in the “new” American black leaders, such as Artur Davis, Mia Love, Alan West, Herman Cain, etc. Great speeches last evening from Ms. Love & Mr. Davis. God bless them!!!
If that’s the best Juan can come up with to try to knock the Republicans at their convention it’s time to retire.
In other words, Juan, she ain’t done for da struggle, ain’t keepin’ real for da peeps in da screet.
Raising five boys and fighting a life threatening disease ain’t no kind of struggle.../s
No hired help?
Their primary home according to Romney is about 10,000 sq ft. They have several large homes.
Are you saying Mrs. Romney has no help?
Sorry, I don’t beleive it.
“I guess that Juan is right, our future first lady doesnt look like a hag like all of the democrat first ladies, he has a point there.”
How do you know Mrs. Romney is a decent classy lady?
Do tou hace proof that she isn’t?
She has been married to the same man for 40+ years, even though she was ill she managed to be a great mother to her sons, and grandmother to 18 grandchildren. I have not heard or read of any affairs concerning either one of them. She spoke proudly and well of her husband and she earned my respect.
Would you say Hillary or Michelle are classy ladies? Should any of those trashy morons dressed as vaginas earn anyones respect, should they be called ladies? This nation has been covered in a blanket of immorality for so long it shouldn’t be hard to recognize a real lady when you se her.
Three cheers for Miss Ann, and she is as classy a lady as they come.
WTH!!! Does Juan expect her to show up to the RNC Convention, where her husband is going to be named the PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE, in a tattered shirt and holey jeans?
Imagine if a Republican commentator went on and stated, Juan Williams looks to me like an affirmative action employee. The stories he told about struggles are hard for me to believe. I mean, he’s a very ethnic man. Williams may not be a racist, but his remarks give him away as a classist. Both are equally repugnant.
Juan Williams looks like a Fox News Corporation jackass.
He obviously has struggled - with things like insight and judgement and other higher order frontal lobe functions.
Juan must have missed the part about using the ironing board as the breakfast table.
Ok, you start out great listing items, expect you are attributing adjectives like good and great, unless you know her personally they are meaningless.
Yes, she has been married to the same man for 40+ years, so have lots of people.
Yes, she has five kids, so do lots of people.
Yes, she speaks highly of her husband, that’s nice but on a national stage would you assume she would trash him?
Then you go off on a tangent that has nothing to do with anything. I asked a question about Mrs. Romney not the other people.
Unless, you know her personally you just can not know, you can surmise based on this appearance, that’s it.
These people are people they are not political saviors.
The fawning over them making them into something they have never been is nauseating.
That’s what happens when “you build it!” You struggle, you succeed, you prosper....for you and yours, not the state.
It is commendable that FNC has opposing viewpoints, playing to the “fair and balanced” concept. The news should get one fired up, even if it is at the hands of big loads like Beckel, Williams, and Colmes.
libtards, what is one to do?
And yet again Juan proves he is on the axelgreasy talking points mailing list ...
Hey Juan, my Mother is a “corporate wife”...you should see the “house” she grew up in. Most people’s camp trailers are nicer.
Juan says what he’s told to say, like the brain-dead leftist he is under his suit covering.
Okay then, what is your definition of a lady? Can you prove she’s not? I go by what I see. Have ANY employees stepped forward to complain about her? I gave you all the reasons why I consider her a classy lady.
n. pl. la·dies
1. A well-mannered and considerate woman with high standards of proper behavior.
a. A woman regarded as proper and virtuous.
b. A well-behaved young girl.
3. A woman who is the head of a household.
4. A woman, especially when spoken of or to in a polite way.
I saw your other post about her “help”. Sounds like a bit of class envy to me. So what iF she had help. They worked for what they have. I wish I were as lucky.
Oh, come on.
I do not care a wit whether she has help or not, that post was in repose to someone saying she has no help.
Sorry, I do not buy that.
The Romney’s have large properties, to say they have no hired help is just not believable.
You want Mrs. Romney to be your saint go ahead, I am saying unless you know her personally you can’t know for sure, you can only surmise.
Luck had little to do with it.
No, hard work and perseverance do.
I think you are a troll or a Ronpaulista.
Interesting how Teresa Heinz Kerry was never criticized in even the smallest way because she was privileged — much more wealthy than the Romneys. It’s OK for libs, but not for anyone else. They need to just STFU.
Roosevelts and Kennedys were more wealthy than Romneys, and they certainly had domestic help. Some people believe they were good presidents. (I sure don’t, but some do.) Wealth has nothing to do with competence.
I don’t want her to be my saint. I want her to be a better first lady than what we have had the last 3 plus years.
I do not begrudge anyone being rich, never have, they provide the jobs. I want someone who will do better than the simpering, thinskinned narcissist in the WH. If that’s Romney, then so be it. Ann will not be president, her husband will, and I think she will do a heck of alot better than Michelle.
And I think you are an idiot.
How do you know she isn't?
You try and sound like you're pretty authoritative on the subject. Care to enlighten us? Give us insight? Shine light on a subject you want us to believe you're well versed in?
We wait with bated breath!
We should not just go around saying nice things about decent people.
Williams sits there and insults Ann Romney while his other face praises Fluke for
being such a great and fantastic choice as speaker for the Dems.
Is Williams what FOX calls fair and balanced now? Partisan?
Oh good lord, you see the woman a few times on TV in the last few weeks and you “know” everything there is to know about her.
She may well be a classy lady, I said unless you know her personally you can not know, you can only surmise based on the short time she has been exposed to the public.
After Juan let the garbage fly about Ms. Ann, he immediately was delt a huge blow by the other news readers on the show...and guess what, after the next break, HE WAS GONE!! Juan should step back and realize he still has a job, and Fox didn’t keep him on to just be a regular liberal Demorat hack. He was kept on to try and be objective...and so far, it isn’t working!!
Some people who may not care for a person (for principled reasons or not) are quick to not only paint with a broad brush, they throw the whole can at the object of their dislike & anyone else nearby ,
Cover a smear with "Since you don't know her, it's well within my rights to cast aspersions"?
You're a classic waste of time.
I'm not giving you any more time or effort, and if the rest of you out there have any brains at all, you'll do the same.
It's the old "never argue with an intellectual inferior" thing, and it applies here.
