Summary: If the UN seizes control of the Internet, they'll take the Internet from the voices of freedom and give it to nations who'd prefer to either kill it or refashion it into another tool of state control.

To put the infrastructure of the Internet under the control of the United Nations is to risk Chinese-style political censorship, or morality-related censorship such as that of Saudi Arabia and Arab states, that would make the worst fears of conservatives about Barack Obama look mild by comparison.
Likely? No. But it is something to keep on the radar screen to prevent it from getting traction.
I wish that “worldwide conservatives” would create their “own” UN, and show the UN how things SHOULD be done, all over the world.
Where’s the lolcats pic, stealing our internets?

Very important but at least equally important is this would give the UN the power to tax the internet. As long as the UN lacks the power to tax, it will be a minor nuisance. Once the UN can levy taxes, then it will become a major threat with the capability of creating it’s own military.
One of the main reason the UN supports climate change is that it creates the opportunity for a global tax on energy.
It’s not so much them stealing the internet as it is ODrama and his ilk surrendering it / handing it over.
Americans need to tell them ....”If you want a internet, go develop your own”, but Obama the muslim wants to give it to his brethren.
Oh, I forgot, Islam has yet to contribute one thing to modern man.
They are farther ahead riding on our backs. Maybe a better idea is to flick the power switch for them. “OFF”.
