(CBS News) A retired Navy SEAL who was present at the killing of Osama bin Laden tells Scott Pelley in a 60 Minutes interview that his book about the raid is not a political statement, rather it is timed to commemorate the 9/11 attack and give credit to the hundreds of people whose work made the mission a success. The former SEAL Team 6 member, who uses the pseudonym Mark Owen, will appear in his first interview on 60 Minutes, Sunday Sept. 9 at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT.

And we all know that jug eared SOB in the WH isn’t going to give anyone else the credit. I’ll bet ZERO had them waiting for DAYS while he agonized over whether or not to kill a fellow muzzie anti-American SOB.
Sorry to say my gut feeling is the press will vilify this person and the Dems will slur him with every hideous attribute possible. It’s the way of the MSM/DNC...wondering if we can all just agree that the MSM/DNC are really the same group..? It would save keystrokes.

I so do not trust this anti-American president. I have to wonder if the Seals who died in the helicopter crash knew the real truth,,,and thusly,,were killed because of it. I would NOT put it past this A-hole President.

Continuing along my tin-foil path I wonder if he had them waiting for days so he could notify the muslims he would “side with” in the enemy camp and plan out out the scenario in advance. BTW - given the volatility of the muslim extremists,,don’t you think it’s a bit interesting that they didn’t seem to much mind OBL getting dumped at sea and being told after-the-fact.
They were given notice. I’m almost sure of it.
Sorry but I disagree vehemently with the production of the book and the details surrounding it.
The Navy Seals( and all military) have my unwavering support and gratitude but to put it in words most Seal members would understand.

The Emperor stated this whole fiasco when he green lighted Hollywood to produce a reelection movie due for release in October 2012.
I have little doubt that the SEAL community was thoroughly questioned by the producers of this multimillion dollar gift to the Emperor in front of various political critters so the producers could get a “feel” for what happened. I also have little doubt that the SEAL community had many follow on interviews which gave them an excellent feeling as to what the movie was going to say.
In short, I view this book and its uncleared release as a spoiling action designed to reduce the political impact of the Emperor's reelection movie. I have had the honor of knowing and working for too many shooters to think that any of them, especially a team member, would go this route with out excellent reasons and provocation.
