Have to agree with Savage. Christie’s speech was more about him (he used ‘I’ over 30 times). He finally got on message in the later portion.
Kasich was one of the best. Before him, most of the speakers were sort of lackluster. He got the crowd into it. Most speakers who followed were good.
Tonight, most of the speakers are the old hats. I doubt I tune in before the Ryan hour.

We haven’t heard Savage in Chicago for some time - so who is Mikey voting for this time?? Is he going with Romney/Ryan or playing the “not a dime’s worth of difference” card again???
Christie was a disappointment, I expected more fire and brimstone from him. I wonder if he’s considering a run in 2016? Speaking of 2016 - has anyone seen that movie yet?
I really think he does care. He’s been right and on the frontline for a long time. I understand why he’s got the hurt feelings when (before England banned him) the Autism brewhaha was swirling and no one came to his defense in the msm talk radio. Then England and Cair and no one came to his defense. Savage said then that they would come for the rest of them and he was right. (the “slut” brewhaha for Rush)

when he first came on the radio, i had no idea he was the same guy who’s health books i had been reading. he was on the cutting edge of that too.
Savage has a habit of putting down other talkshow hosts so it’s really no surprise that no one came to his defense, although wait there were a couple IIRC Jerry Doyle and Billy Cunningham and I think Laura Ingraham defended him. As for Fluke and Rush, he walked into that, it was his own damn fault IMO.
I just watched Christy’s speech-didn’t mention Obama by name once-wtf is up with that? were the other speakers that lame to be scared to say his name?
